The show Valdes Jul really reminds me of several others that exist with almost the same story line, Avatar, Fern Gully just to name a couple but I was really interested in watching some but can't seem to get in in the States

There is something called Object Oriented Ontology that might interest you to know about. Basically a non-human-centered theory of being. From what I've learned about it so far it seems compatible with animism. Western philosophers may be discovering it from another direction?

What do you think, Rune? Is Danmark’s new king, Frederik X an animist? At least, the King’s motto doesn’t mention God, as has been the custom for our last six Kings and Queen. In Danish, his motto (Forbundne, forpligtet, for kongeriget Danmark) implies connectives (forbundne) and commitment (forpligtet) for the kingdom of Denmark. Sounds kinda pagan, doesn’t it? No god guiding him, just awareness of his realm and who he is. The Danish paper, Kristlig Dagblad (Christian Daily) found it disturbing that God isn’t mentioned. “Too vague. It could mean anything.” Exactly.
