Okay so regarding Moukoko for me as a German who is following Moukoko since he was like 13/14 i gotta say even if he is 4 years older (which i wouldnt doubt) lets see what he did in his carreer. When he was 13/14 he played in the U17 team when he was 15/16 he played the U19 team so in the best case he was the same age in the worst he was one year older. Even if he was one year older than all other players in the league 90 goals in 56 matches in the U17s and 44 goals in 23 matches in the U19s are still forking impressive. So what happened after? From the moment he joined Borussia Dortmunds first team for the next 18 Months they had this norwegian striker called Haaland (real football insiders might ve heared of him already) and played 90+% of the matches with a single striker formation so as a coach you gotta chose to start either a "16" year old Moukoko or the 20/21 year old Haaland. For me this was the breaking point of Moukokos carreer. At that age he needed a loan LoAn LOAN LOOOOOAN to another club where he would have guaranteed starting and playing time to keep on developing. When Haaland finally moved to City Moukoko was broken already and they bought other strikers to start instead of him. Even if he is 4 years older he had the potential to become Germanys next Miroslav Klose. Now he is wasted and we need to wait for the next talented striker to pop up out of pretty much nowhere....

When my great grandfather came to the US with his parents he had an accurate birth certificate. When he was a kid, the court house burned down and his adoptive father lied about his age so he could work the farm with less stick from the local and state government in New Jersey. It's actually been an extremely common practice historically and it's not remotely surprising it still happens today from countries still trying to catch up.

@Pantalaimon913 күн бұрын
@@dannytallmage2971 It didn't really have anything to do with him being an immigrant, nor his biological family. Both his parents had died and he and his siblings were adopted by an abusive ass that wanted to have fewer people side eye him about putting his definitely under age kids to work. It's also only a *problem in that people assume all people everywhere have the same access to everything. Within individual countries you can have dramatically different life circumstances that lead to wildly different levels of development physically, mentally, or emotionally. In this case, (Moukoko's) he was virtually always playing with kids 2-4 years "older" than him (keep in mind all of this is still only alleged). He was playing with kids equal to him in development, which matters significantly more than them all being the exact same age.

@vignotum1323 күн бұрын
@@MarcosGarcia-pj3pq TL;DR: there is a distinction that makes my comment not racist, and the correct application of a ”diluted” sense of ”racism” is the best way to decrease racism. My comment is not racist, because it doesn’t assume everyone’s who is immigrant is black, it assumes black people are over-represented in the immigrant population compared to the general population, which is true for the setting we are talking about (Western Europe). That is a fact. So, saying that it is more likely for a black individual to have a fake age than a white one is not racist, but applying it to individual cases, where the reason you believe someone is older than their legal age simply because they are black IS racist. See the difference? Also, while I understand your worry about diluting the word ”racism”, I disagree. Racism is a spectrum, on which everyone lies on; everyone has racial stereotypes, because it is human to make stereotypes based on perceived group identities. By restricting the word behind arbitrary standards, it creates separation between ”non-racists” and ”racists”. But the mental separation doesn’t help, because creating those group mentally restricts movement between them. This means racist people are less likely to become less racist, since they are villainised by those who could otherwise help them change their beliefs (also causes the backfire effect.) It also means those believing themselves to be ”non-racist” have a harder time acknowledging the racial stereotypes that affect them, because to confront these stereotypes they have to change their view on their group identity, which is notoriously uncomfortable; this is called denialism.

Well documented how a black baby can hold their own head up on average weeks before others can. Thus why a lot of people look at a 14 year old black kid who looks like he could be 18 and are confused. While it gives them an advantage in sports especially at younger ages since it helps them dominate minutes and get the experience to breakthrough to a professional level it also means their physical development is usually done a little earlier as well.

Black isnt really one thing though. Youre talking about hundreds or thousands of different ethnicities, nationalities and family groups and skin colours, looks, and cultures and environments. All of which may, or may not, fit your criteria more or less than other groups. I'm not saying youre being racist. But all 'black' people are about as similar as all 'white' people - heck, lots of white people are more different than other white people and closer to some black people, and vice versa. Skin colour is simply useless for making 99% of generalisations. Moral of the story, using the entirely made-up concept of race (invented in the 17th century. Look it up) to make broad generalisations about people isnt very useful. Same with eurasians tbh unless youre speaking very very generally about a bunch of diverse peoples.
