Olcottbeach always gives you stories of skinwalkers quite a bit. Saying he worked in 1906 so I know children as young as 8 would go down in the mines so let’s just say he was 8 years old working in that place he mentioned so that would make him 101 years old… very impressive and you have obviously kept your body and health well so I hope I have the same luck too. I love how people just keep making up new powers for wendigos. You might as well just give one the Infinity Gauntlet at this point. Edit: It was also in North Carolina. A story about a wendigo in North Carolina is like a story about a leprechaun in China. No one in North Carolina traditionally believed in wendigos. That is modern internet stuff.

Same way in my region we have many names for our vampire like revenant and spirit creatures forced jnder the name vampire, i imagine the north anerican creatures get pushed into the wendigo/skinwlaker name.

Yes, anytime a story does this it's like.. hm... not very lore accurate. You could argue it's a recently transformed wendigo who still has the faintest remaining ammount of control and humanity, not for long, but that's still taking some... creative liberties, lol.
