Thanks for posting your video. I am convinced now that I do NOT want to go to Eleuthera. Florida has so much to offer that I haven't seen, that I will never make it to the Bahamas.

What was it that turned you off from Eleuthera? The Bahamas is much more than Eleuthera. The Bahamas truly is the best cruising grounds in the world. Florida is pretty sweet, but you'd be missing out not making the trip over if you have the ability.

@@SearchingforCShels There are no rivers or springs there, the island is too flat and not enough to explore on land besides beaches. You can only take so much beach time, then you need more variety than Eleuthera offers. I would take a free vacation there for sure, but I don't think it is worth the cost if you have to pay for it. Florida has lots of nice rivers and the best springs in the world. Lots to do in Florida including great hiking.

As a fellow Ontarian I’m wondering what you do for health care when your OHIP runs out after six months. I am thinking of taking my sailboat south when I retire in two years.

There are 3 options. Go back top Ontario for 5 months a year, pay for your own healthcare, or every 5 years you can take 2 years away and still maintain your Ontario health care. If you do loose your Ontario healthcare, it takes 3 months to reinstate when you go back.
