I’m not so sure that the former owner is going to think of this as “the highest, best use” of his beloved fj45, or at least of the 22% of it that isn’t on the junk pile outside. Paul found a unicorn and chopped off it’s horn, lowered it, sectioned it and now has a donkey with a few bits of glitter still clinging to its sides. Paul, Not that I would ever question your work but,,, that heater hose, the one that was leaking, may want another look. I think you even questioned if it would flow? It looks awfully tightly bent. You don't want to restrict the flow just because you are in a hurry to get it done. Could you bend some tubing to put in there or make the hose longer? That radius bend just looks flat, but maybe it is just the camera angle. Be careful out paying in the snow. Love you guys.

What I like about Fab Rats, Paul shows victories and failures. Not like the Motor Trend, Gears, 4x4 etc that use 99 per cent new parts. This is more like us followers, if you can't afford or find a part (way), you make it work somehow. Also multiple trips to parts houses. If you can't return, save for future projects. Like the small mill.

Pretty good... why don't u fit a interior snorkel to avoid flood the engine when crossing water? Here in Portugal I've already fitted one that wasn't seen from the outside on a MIx of a BJ40 front and all the Land Cruiser VX 3.0D for Trials. Is simple to pass the intake air Tube on the Inside and put it receiving nice fresh air in the rear top of the cabin. Meaby, also put the ECU systems away from ground, i leterally put the electronics near the roof after place the interior Roll Cage... Basicaly it is a VX landcruiser with a BJ40 Front... Donne it in 2002 and still runs today...last time I saw it was running 40" Maxxis Trepador tyres..
