You won my attention with the stats: 2.7 billion active users, 200 million paid creators, a projected half trillion dollar industry by 2027. Mind-blowing. ASQ is right on the money, just like FSN, Fill a Specific Need, which is more of what I do. Are my goals to make money on KZbin? Not really. I'd like to make enough money to cover my software purchases for the videos and I'll be happy. I've averaged 1.5 new subscribers a day, and hitting 1,000 subscribers is probably about 4 months away (I'm 200 shy), but hitting 4,000 hours of watch time is about a week away that I started getting serious about monetizing my channel. Thanks for the advice.

That's funny, I wrote that about 6 weeks ago. I'm only 5 subscribers away from 1K now and I have 7,700 hours of watch time, most of which I picked up in the last 90 days. But in the first five months of the year, all of my videos were pretty flat-line, not doing much. Like placing a bet, I let them all ride and with patience, they all panned out.

I’M ALL IN. I’ve wasted way too much time thinking about all the what if’s & thinking that I’m not good enough. I am good enough & all it takes is one video! I know it’s not going to be easy. I’ve been making music since 2018 and I’m committed to making a impact with my music & my youtube channel & also another channel I’ve really been inspired to make which is me wanting to help others with their health, eating well, getting fit, and relationships, like going through a divorce and healing after for example. I just want to enjoy more free time with my 2 year old son & be able to help my family more like my mom and dad and my grandparents who are 77 & 80. Helping others & taking care of my family are my 2 main motivators. 🙏🏼🖤

I'm kinda of reaching a point of fatigue with my KZbin channel after 18 months, I put a lot of time and finances into my channel trying to create something unique within a niche genre, but time and time again i see channels pulling in larger views and subscribers, with almost the same videos. My conclusion is that my geographical position does have any channels doing what we do and the majority of the other channels that do well are of the same geographical location. Would this be a far assumption?

I have 15 subscribers, and I want to upload a video soon. Watching, researching, and learning. I want to do different things and wonder if that would be confusing for my viewers. I'm doing this because mentally, I'm exhausted. My life has been hell, and physically, I can't work. I'm trying to get out of poverty. I want to talk about mental health as my 18 year old just got onset symptoms for schizophrenia and all my children struggling, yet I'm scared to expose my family. I guess I wish I knew which route was best. Either way, I'm starting.
@karlareadstheclassics2175 ай бұрын
Hi Queen. You CAN do this. I see channels with parents struggling with the challenges of caring for both mentally & physically ill children & family members. I just wanted to encourage you to get started. You don't have to show your family members on camera, but you might consider just talking about diagnoses, how the symptoms manifest, how it effects you (tired, scared, etc). It takes a bit of allowing yourself to be vulnerable; letting people see what it's like & how you cope, but you may find a great community to empathize with you & support you. Just get started, one vid at a time. I wish you the best.

Maybe I should define the purpose of my videos. I have 3 types. Online bowling. Make videos on how to master the online bowling games, or how to engage in candlepin bowling if you don't live in a state where there is candlepin bowling. Running. How do I continue to run at an advanced age. Karaoke. How you can sing karaoke right off your phone. What I'm getting out of this is you have to have the patience to watch this entire video from start to finish before diving in to what you are trying to do.
