I don't believe it's blaming women. I believe this actually highlights a call for responsibility to be taken on both sides because that's how relationships work. I'm hearing as women, know your worth and trust your instincts to date who you really really like and don't settle. Otherwise the consequence of settling is that affection and respect will not be given to that man, thus opening a door for him to cheat. Now on the man's side, there is also a call for him to have self-respect because no self-respecting man would cheat because it's gross and hurtful. Cheating is also a sign of lack of self-control not only in this area but many others, one may find. Lessons of accountability on both sides, are things iv had to learn and it's not always easy. What makes things like this a hard pill to swallow, is being emotional as opposed to using logic and reason. I think as women, it could be helpful to realise times when it's not helpful to dwell in our emotions. Further, the Bible also calls all of humanity to not be led my our emotions; it's a trap just like the bible warns and a trap iv experienced personally so I get it. Hope this helps. I believe this to an extent. As a person who is attracted to energy more than looks it is very hard for me to go off of physical attraction alone. I find it hard to not fall for someone who I find synergy with. I was talking to a man whom I did not find physically attractive however, he was intellectually and spiritually attractive to me, which in turn made him physically attractive. I poured into him and became a part of his life. We even discussed marriage, collective goals and began working on them. He did what you said in spite of what I did. He let his ego interfere and wasn't honest with himself or others. I immediately cut him off and haven't looked back. I still believe in love. However, now I definitely only engage with men I want in all realms, physical and spiritual. This is still a struggle for me.
