The man I was seeing for two months was very much into me until I told him I wanted to wait until marriage for sex. He was very respectful but decided for him, sex is an important part of a relationship. We parted ways amicably, but frankly, I feel hurt. Everything was easy w us, and my gut instinct was calm and safe. I just keep praying that I trust God, and He knows and will send the man meant for me. 😢❤

@@4EverGr8ful1Very true, but in today’s society that’s the norm. Not saying it’s right but people today aren’t waiting for marriage to have sex. When this is a requirement you can pretty much eliminate 99% of the population. It’s like looking for a unicorn or a needle in a haystack. Good luck!

There is a lot of sense in what you just said and I hope mine works the same way too, we are currently separated but I cant live without her, I love her so much. wish I can get her back I can do anything to have her back, we have tried therapy amongst other things.

Be mindful of those who aim to use your boundaries against you by expecting things that violate your boundaries just to 'prove' your love to them & that you really mean what you say. That is NEVER ok, and you should probably get out of there.

I think a man,,- just like a woman - instinctively knows whether or not a woman has deep feelings / respect / admiration for him .If he has any doubts on the subject - and assuming he has the same level of interest in her - he should initiate open and honest communication if he wants the relationship to make any kind of headway. (After a given period of time, a woman might assume he may not be into her after all - or he has other priorities which have got to the forefront.) If he lets doubt settle in the relationship he might lose her - or they might lose each other.

Guy asked me to dinner I responded with just a heart. Then he disappeared. I reached out softly and learned he felt scared he crossed a line. I said not at all. Praised him for the courage to be honest when he told me how he felt. Now I know I need to answer in a better way to eliminate any doubt.

@@ThatGirlMoi I did think that as well, but under the circumstances which were a little bit odd, I could see where he was coming from. We met by having a mutual friend, so it wasn’t like we started talking with the thought we would have a blind date or any date at all actually. It just so happened that we really had a good connection.

These men be walking around unhealed and then expecting us to come to them healed and not traumatized from past relationships… they should also extend that grace to us if we’re still needing reassurance and care. oh please! I have some things to say. As someone who has done healing, not only for heartbreak but also childhood trauma, I know this is an incredibly unique and rare journey that not all have the privilege of going through. Men always end up a little narcissistic. Either because he is so emotionally intelligent he is egotistical and manipulative. Or he is so emotionally unintelligent that he can only see from first person point of view. You hurt me. You made me mad. You made me do that. Its all your fault. You started it. You did it. Anyway, healing from heartbreak often means picking yourself back up, getting over it, and moving on with life. I feel truly healing from each and every heartbreak is to grieve all that is lost, celebrate the happy memories, and move forward to a new future with hope for possibilities.

Someone said it's like 80% them and 20% us initiating. so if he's already planned 5 or 7 dates, plan the next one, something like that...still learning, because women shame other women for ''running after''. So we run a risk of going into the opposite ditch, leaving all the work for the guy, and there's a danger in there of him thinking we're not interested or even using him for attention.

Stephan can we start talking about men coming from war zone and raised in such a environment especially from Middle East? These men are so emotionally broken not by their fault. The way they treat women is not only primitive cuz of the religion but also the facts their mothers raining them as princesses causes all of this horrible plague of men waiting women only to give. Men are seekers and givers, while women are receivers and responders. God created us this way 🙏 Yet in this era, alot of women, not all, are taught to be aggressors, and men weak. It's flipped the script; Not good. I don't know why anyone would think men don't have emotions. Problem is they're taught to be men of steal and stoic.
