I completely agree with Carlo's mother's way of thinking, life used to be simpler and people were authentic and free of bad thoughts. Beautiful video as always, seeing Holly and Indie's little face warms my heart.😍

Every week I say, “wow this is the best video yet”. So again I say “best ….yet”. I am 80 and I know exactly what your mother is saying about a simpler life. When I am with my great grandchildren I do things with them “the old school way” and tell them stories when I was their age. Maybe they will remember, I can only hope.

Dear Nicki and Carlo! I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your effort and passion in making these videos. I've had a rough couple of weeks both mentally and physically, and watching you really helps take my mind off of things. I have followed your channel för aprox. 2 years now and I still have a couple of hundred old videos to go back to which I'm so grateful for. You have become like old friends that I look forward to hearing from each sunday. Wishing you a great start on the new week. Lots of love /Karin from Sweden

What a nice video from beginning to end. Indie squeezing herself in through the doggie door! Family - sitting around the kitchen table eating and sharing stories of times past. Does is get any better than that? NO. I used to think that being able to sit there and talk with your kids as adults was the best part of being a parent but it goes beyond that to the next generation. The wise old elders who have the history, the stories, the memories. The best of life! Thanks for sharing your lives and famiglia, have a great week!

Nicki, I always find myself wanting to say you probably have no idea how positively you affect thousands and thousands and thousands of people around the world. It's not just about travel and Positano, it's you and Carlo and what you've built for yourselves. I know that when I watch it just gives me hope for a better life. I know your life isn't perfect but it's pretty darn beautiful and you reflect to us what's possible. It's just extraordinarily uplifting and I just want to say how very much I appreciate it. 💗 On a different note I'm sure you've addressed this but I missed it what happened to Itty Bitty Kitty's eyes? Only a few years ago they were normal and now she appears to have severe cataracts and I'm just wonderin has she been taken to the vet, what did the vet say... sorry to be nosy but for the animal lovers I'm sure many others are wondering too

Dearest Nicki, Know that you are a source of strength to many. My 93 year old Father watched you both. I'm hoping it will spur him on to fully live out this spring and summer. We have a dear sweet girl.marrying in May. I tell him "Daddy, it would be so TACKY to hang it up before Bianca's wedding. Just keep eating a bit, and drinking. We have the winery open, live music starts in May... Tickets to the theater You must be there. Not In a coma. Please. We all est things daily, not for taste, for nourishment. So, Down the hatch!" You both have given much energy to many of us, with your integrity, your kids be for people, your tender care for your animals. Bless you Always.

This was a very special video. As I get older I have been thinking more often about my childhood and I think Carlo's Mom nailed it when she said if could go back in time she would because it was happy for her. I think life was not necessarily easier but it was simpler and when you have little, you tend to make your own fun and that brings lots of memories. I was reminiscing with my daughter's Mother-in-Law about things we had that our shared grandchildren will never know and would probably roll their teenage eyes at - if they looked up from their phones long enough. 😊
