I honestly think football teams should invest more in 2 aspects of a football player: 1) their education, specially financially, as footballers often don't even finish high school, and get taken advantage off by their family, goldiggers, or agents. 2) their mental health, as most footballers often come from poorer backgrounds and face quite a lot of adversity and eventually lose themselves: Gardel, Adriano, Alli

He had a shortish career in the game (not helped by being a party animal) before publicly saying he'd "fallen out of love with the game". The difference with Alli is that Woodhouse seems to be more a natural competitor and went on to a career in pro boxing where he became British light welterweight champion. I remmember that clique of young english players; Rashford, Lingard, Dele, etc we all used to watch their IG stories and interviews. I truly expected him to become a top 10 player, England starter, possible league winner. He has a classic case of burnout IMO. He probably wants to be doing something else with his life, we have to realize that a lot of these players chose football as a career when they were like 13 years old. I think Neymar has a similar predicament but he can coast on his talent and reputation. With a sport like football if you don't love it with all your heart, it will show in your fitness, in your effort etc. Not all players are meant to have a 20-year long careers at the top, some will retire early and move to a league like the MLS. I just hope he is doing well behind the scenes, because it can be rough going from a genuine A-list celebrity to being booed and banished from the Turkish league and failing at Everton.

Attitude issues can only be changed once you notice them yourself. Literally every Manager who has gone through him about this and it never changes. I think we all remember that video with Mourinho where it's fairly noticeable that he gives no shit about what Mourhino had to say. He quite literally dug his own grave and jumped in it as soon as he was finished. If there was, at any point, a moment where he should've begun changing his attitude was after the Mourhino talk. Well, he didn't, and this is where he is now.

I think football fans find it hard to realise that most players are probably just playing football as a job. The reason why you go to your 9-5 that you might not love doing is the samereason why most footballers play football i.e. to provide for their families. They are often from nothing and football allows them to pull their family out of poverty. Then they are stuck in a job that they are grateful for but don't really like anymore but still have to do it because they are the sole (and large) breadwinner. These players need more Psychological support in my opinion.

As an Everton fan, I have an inside track on why they haven’t cancelled the loan. It’s kind of explained with the intense talks with dele alli before he joined. From what I understand, the loan is set with a big cancellation fee as Everton wanted him to go for the full season as they planned to recruit new players in central midfield. With Gueye, Garner, and Onana coming in, Everton wanted Allis wages covered for the full season. As a result part of the cancellation fee is to cover his wages for the rest of the season, meaning if anything Beskitas would pay more to send him back than just freeze him out. The talks at the start were probably based on figuring out if he was worth the gamble as they’d be stuck with him otherwise. I think Senol might be trying the last thing he can think of to get Alli back to form. He might look at it and say we’ve got him anyway so I’ll try everything I can, and maybe this is his last roll of the dice.

There have been many players in the past with a natural talent to play this game we love, who have been the next best player to walk onto a pitch. Then the fame of being a celebrity becomes too much and they can’t or don’t know how to deal with it, remember Gascoigne blowing up in the cup final!

I remember seeing him play MK Dons back in the day just a shame he doesn’t put the effort in anymore.

It’s really mad how many great talents have come from the EFL

@@Vizeh I love it when premier league clubs buy players lower down the pyramid especially players Like Jamie Vardy etc.

English Players who English media hyped: Wilshere, Alli, Rodwell, Andy Carroll... English Players who they didn't hype: Carrick, Milner, Gary Cahill... It's out there for everyone to see which players go on to have world class career... predictions on Jude Bellingham anyone?😂😂

You hit the nail on the head... People get burned out. Especially in a sport like this.. Imagine playing for 3 hours day, everyday for 20 years. Honestly, those who don't get tired of it are a bit twisted if you ask me. It happened to me. By my senior year in college I was tired of it. As a kid I love the game. In highschool it was the best but once I started playing in college, the 3 hours a day for 4 years strait was enough. Sure, my skills were beyond anywhere I thought that they'd ever get to but it was just too much having to go 100% EVERYDAY! And it's a game where you MUST give 100%. Like I said, anyone who doesn't get tired of doing that is one odd duck IMO...

This video makes me think of the Neymar one. Dele wasn’t supposed to be a Balon D’or winner and if you look at his career he’s done very well for himself. He’s also been playing pro men’s football since 15/16 unlike others like Messi and Kane so he’s body does appear to be able to hack it anymore. Neymar is Brazil’s all time top scorer and people will say he’s failed his career as he has no World cup/Balon D’or. It makes you think what was their ceiling? What was the bare minimum they were supposed to do?

Respectfully, Lingard isn’t comparable - he lost his Mum (and she wasn’t copus me rush for a long time before), his granddad and had to look after his younger siblings… not to mention United kinda mucked him about and so did West Ham

dele was always in my pro evo squads , had mad stats, was sad to see him fail to live up to the standards we all know he was capable of

You take more than a little bit of inspiration from Perspective's F1 channel but your content has been improving lately so... keep up the good work.

He did this to himself. It should be a testament to all those talented lads who DIDNT let all the money and fame go to their heads and continued to take their careers seriously.

The answer believe it or not was 1965 Liverpool 2-1 Leeds United that’s Liverpool’s first ever FA Cup trophy in their history and their first final involved Burnley winning 1-0 vs Liverpool

The majority of players come from nothing but the elite players realise the hard work begins once you reach the top. Ali took it for granted not realising just how quickly it can be taken away.

Hard to feel bad for the guy what so ever. All he had to do was keep his head down and work hard. He might've not reached his potential even if he had of worked hard but I just simply can't feel bad for a multi millionaire that's been given the keys to life. It's a whole lot better than getting up and working in the pissing rain on a building site.

We don't know what he's battling maybe he's going through alot and maybe he's got people pulling him down but I think he should let go and go where he's appreciated Dele go to the MLS The Chinese League or the Middle East league go make money and forget about the ones that put you down bro
