It sucks! It only has room for 25 presets and has almost no effects which has made this the easiest decision ever to save my money.

I have been waiting for neural dsp to release a smaller unit, hoping i could change my hx stomp for it. I was expecting around this price point. But this is just weirdly disappointing, not what I was expecting at all.

No fx loop and fixed signal chain.. smh in disappointment. Hx stomp still owns this "revolutionary" pedal.

The HX just doesn’t sound as good. It has more features but it lacks in clarity overall. At the end of the day you want the pedal that sounds better.

@@Modus4 you can get good tones with the stomp. In the end its a matter of the user's priority/preference. Most people will prefer functionality and features vs prime quality sounds (quality can be argued is subject to taste). People in the audience would not care how pristine the quality of your sound is. Doesn't "sound good" and "lacks in clarity overall" can be argued as subjective and depends on the user. HX stomp or helix ecosystem can sound just as good as a quadcortex or nano cortex. Stop the cap.

Ive been waiting for a metal distor or a big solo tone, but nothing...My Mooer 150 has the same size, exp pedal and lots of features more than this. For only $75?

Are the banks etc moveable? I could get away with 4/5 sounds a gig. Would be very handy if they were all next to each other for switching etc

I honestly see no practical reasons to get this over a Kemper Player. Yes it can also capture, but how many users who are interested in cheaper pedals have amplifiers worth capturing? This has less effects than the Kemper Player (which is already limited) and that places it closer to the Tonex, but the Tonex is a lot cheaper and more accurate. This would've been worth it if they either added more pedals (at least overdrives) or modeler/plugin support. Instead we have a pedal thats in between a Tonex and Kemper Player, which brings the worst of both worlds

Thanks for reminding me about the Kemper Player. I saw this and was thinking didn’t this just come out already but better. 🤣 I have the tone x and a pod go, but I think the kemper player might be for me.

Why would you need all that when there is literally a community to download captures. More convenient. And it the Nano just sounds better than the ToneX or HX.

if you are good with pitch shift, chorus, 1 verb and delay in a fixed order then the Nano will work. If you want more flexibility and are willing to spend more the player is going to offer more options. The other thing that may be worth exploring at similar price point would be a Tonex1 and HX effects. Or Tonex1 and TC Plethora.
