Great job Greg, it was wonderful to work with legendary producer Tom Dowd. I don't remember playing all those notes though, haha.

Hi Laurence...wow! Thank you very much for your comment. That's very cool of you :) haha...I'm sure they'd all come back once you picked up your bass again ;) I love the big lick near the end to the low B...oh ya! Thanks again...very nice of you :)

This bass line is criminally underrated. Perfect 10/10

I never realised the bassline was so busy in this tune. Bassist is doing a lot more than Mr. Slowhand Clapton, in fact.

Ya, it's one of those songs where the bass just kind of blends in and you don't really hear how involved it is.

have you ever heard a band called Lucifer's Friend? Their bass player Dieter Horns is among the best rock bassists ever IMO, very cool style and tone. a couple standout tracks (among many) are "blind freedom", "sorrow", "free hooker", "fugitive". well worth a listen for any bass guitar enjoyers out there. it would be great to see someone pay tribute to them.

I'm not familiar with that band, but I'll check them out...thanks!
