I felt personally attacked by the "you can't just throw parts at it comment" 😂 but you aren't wrong. I gotta get started on a couple of powerstrokes I have myself. But that won't be until after my grandpa's Advanced Design and LS swap in the squarebody 'Burb.

Thanks! Throwing parts at it is in fact often cheaper than paying to have it diagnosed by someone who knows what they’re doing. Added bonus, eventually you’ve got all new parts…everywhere. 😂

@Xthreadgarage Thank you. Both of us are still working on improving our editing skills. I'm pretty sure that is more frustrating than doing rear drum brakes or even a starter on a Northstar.

Be careful with wires and hoses when reassembling. Years ago at work I repaired a new Suburban Denali. It was a hard front hit, I replaced all the sheet metal forward of the cowl, including partial frame rails. When I hooked up the hoses, somehow I swapped a vacuum line with the windshield washer line.I pumped a gallon of washer fluid straight into the top of the engine while wondering where the fluid was going. OOPSI. 🤦♂️

Ya common sense wires no good machine simply basic mechanical I prefer older machines simply not because they don’t have technology but because worth more no Cummins no power stroke no deramax old welder too to each their own
