The video today was pretty cool, and I’m not talking about the radiator and intercooler… We had an amazing opportunity to help Kip's Friend start his auto shop, after he had a series of unfortunate events.
Thanks for watching

Might want to add grommets on the intercooler tubes where they go through the sheet metal. Big potential for rubbing to wear aluminum through. Great mounting system you created.

Rudy, to make welding aluminum easier try this.. Use a pure tungsten electrode and pure Helium for a shielding gas.. It's like squirting caulking out of a tube, also never use a steel wire brush always stainless steel.. Carbon from the steel wire will mess up your weld...

NICE JOB on the RADIATOR mounting. You always see even one mounting them on you tube with the old school solid mounts instead of using rubber mounts that slide like EVERY OEM car since the 1980s or maybe before. I such a simpler cleaner look. It also leaves you the abilty to modify later add AC condensor if there is room after everything else is in.

Hey, I have a really off-the-wall idea for you guys for the C10 truck… Watching your video of you taking the grill off you really ought to take some measurements from the front section of a challenger with the four headlights and see if it would fit in the area that you are working with….lI think it would look really cool

@AndrewAMartin
@AndrewAMartin 7 күн бұрын
@@jasonswift7098 I know you didn't say that, _I_ did... And as for cost, the JC Whitney catalogs of yore were full of billet grill upgrades for all sorts of trucks. Calling them billet is probably a bit of a misnomer anyway, just aluminum bars really. I'm sure Rudy could cut one out on his plasma table easily. But that would be more of a show truck look and probably not the direction Kaulin is heading...
