"It's just talk", but the level of conversation is on a rhythmic level that transcends into where Lyle Mays had to ascend in order to transcend himself. He was simply far beyond this life in his element. Just BRILLIANTLY AT PEACE WITH HIS CHOICE IN LIFE TO PLAY THE KEYBOARDS. Like all of the geniuses before him, Lyle gave his all to music, which we have nowas our own part of him. Never to be missed because music is forever. So goes life with Lyle

He is a star..Interesting if you listen to the solo also he made one mistake (accidentally hit two keys at once). So he wasn't God...just a human genius. I listen to this band almost every day!

Superb. First heard this as an analogue tape. Modern digital is very good but always sounds rather dry and desiccated. Seeing these live performances despite the recording imperfections gives them real life, especially with the all the little vignettes and improv s these talented musicians bring to the moment.

The video is not of best quality, the sound is not all there, and still, these guys sound so freakin awesome after all these years. Hats off to Pat and the gang. And Lyle is in my opinion, just like you will see further down in the comments, is one of the best acoustic piano players of MUSIC in the whole world. When you hear Lyle, you hear all of music, all of life - it hits the soul. What a solo, once again - its always Lyles..........oh, and BTW, this is one of Pat's most unique and awesome solos as well, but what can you expect from Pat but only the best!

Drummer is too loud and mechanical, especially behind the piano solo. Needed to have shown more subtlety. Otherwise some wonderful playing.

@@chriswilkes236 The drumming during Lyle's solo sounds fine to me; what you're hearing might just be an artifact of the poor quality of the recording, maybe? Paul Wertico is no slouch.

Yes the Lyle mays is sounding great even without the organ/piano combination. On another note It seems shortly after they release a new record and on tour. If they played with a new piano effect or guitar sound effect on the record. How best to play with that effect is still fresh in there minds. But understandable as time goes by, they forget how they played that one song in a unique way. I mean has Lyle ever used that keyboard sound on "are you going with me" ever again. I hope I typed that right.
