I think the motor cover being bent is what is making that horrible sound on the hoist. Fan blade.

I was just about to suggest something similar. There is almost definitely a rotating assembly hitting the case. I've never heard such a terrible noise from an electric hoist.

Two things, Id bet the bent motor case is contacting a "fan" on the motor on the hoist, thats why its so loud. Also, I know Tay was only hanging for a minute but when you're hanging from a harness all of your weight is on those inner thigh straps and those can crush the femoral arteries and could potentially cause blood clots and other injuries. There is actual terms called suspension trauma or harness hang syndrome. Love you guys.

I took advantage of the LA discount and bought the Vevor mag drill. It is hard to resist owning a piece of equipment which would otherwise be unaffordable. There is definite comedy in the grammar and wording of Chinese directions in general and you guys present that in an appropriate way. If that's offensive, at least it's a fixable problem.

That chain hoist moves so slow you could create a workout regiment to get strong enough to lift whatever you are using the chain hoist for and lift it by hand before the chain hoist finishes lifting it.

Hello, I am from south texas. I am three years into building a small custom metal fab shop. How do you go about marketing your services?? How do you attract customers? Could you make a video about the structure of your business if you feel comfortable with it? I've looked everywhere for any guide to beginning with a company for metal fab but can't find one. You, as a shop, are precisely what I want to be one day.
@RuggedArtistry
@RuggedArtistry Жыл бұрын
This is strictly my opinion but Tay got a giant head start in the fab business because of his experience and connections through his Dad's business, Black Dog Salvage. And Black Dog Salvage got a really boost of exposure when a cable channel picked them up many years ago. I wish you well with your endeavors. Have you got a website? I'd like to check out projects that you have already completed.

The loud motor on the hoist could be caused by the dent case being hit by the fan. I had a same issue on a large water pump. And it made a similar sound.

Noooo! I need a 2xl-tall! Im 6'5" with a long/broad back. Shirts never fit, help a brother out! The stool sticker isn't upside down, its that way so you remember who you got it from when you're telling your friend about it on the phone! 😅 My wife's a manager at Harbor Freight. The evolution of the equipment they offer has come a long, long way. Sure, its still a lesser expensive option than the brand names and you get what you pay for *BUT,* the bang for your cheaper dollar, per dollar, has increased quite a bit. I bought their Vulcan 220 (on sale plus employee discount tipped the balance). Its a multi-process welder with mig, flux core, tig and stick facilities and, although its not got some of the cooler, extra stuff on the brands you have, it's still pretty good quality and flexible, especially since my jobber days are behind me and im retired, just needing a good welder for the house. But saying that, it's definitely something I'd run in the shop, too. Like many less expensive options, a lot of the cost is cut by providing short mig lines, a basic gun, grounding cable, etc.. By addition of a longer mig lead, better stinger, longer/heavier ground cable/clamp (the ground clamp's ok, better than others) over time as you figure out what your particular needs are, you can turn this into quite the weapon in your arsenal. I don't know if you have, have used or have reviewed a Vulcan welder but, it would be interesting to see you're take on them. And no, im not sending yoh mine. 😊 And if wheels are your problem, I live very close to Atlanta castor and equipment, they've gotcha covered! 😉

You guys are hilarious, can i come work for you!!? Although i live in new york next to canada and vermont it would be a long commute. The noise might be the bent housing on the end of the motor, that plastic fan might be hitting it. Anyways great video missed you guys cant wait to receive my shirt.

I do not know why you clowns don't have a million subscribers. You create like Diresta and you are a boat load more funny. And you talk right (I am from Asheville). Just clean up the language. I cannot watch you with my 7 year old and my 9 year old because the F-bombs just keep flying. I do not have to worry about that with Jimmy Diresta. I get it. I worked with a bunch of guys in a shop years ago but. we were not making KZbin videos. Oh and I did not have kids. Create, film, laugh then have a beer. And I cannot wait for that one million subscriber plaque. That said, LiveForGlory is right. You really do not want to shut off blood flow to your femoral artery, a clot and a pulmonary embolism could kill you. Stay vertical in the harness. More creating, more videos and more beer. and not dead. Dr. W. David McGuinn

I have bought some vevor stuff and honestly it ain't bad. It is so damn cheap it is wild. I could usually buy two vevor for the price of even one harbor freight comparable. So shoot even if I break it or have to send it back? I will also say this is for tools I don't use every single day so the quality can be lower.
