I am sure some folks come away from county fairs with their own special memories such as the smell of the sausage with onions and green peppers frying as well as the hotdogs and hamburgers. Always anticipated that moment when our father would ask "is anyone hungry?". As for me, it was the smell of the wood shavings and sawdust in the livestock buildings as well that are still fresh in my mind after almost 65 years. Thank you Alan and Jen and your wonderful children for bringing these wonderful memories back to life and for sharing this part of your lives with us. God Bless!
