The amount of times I’ve said to myself “I’m fucking done with this shit” and mentally flipped cuz of this album despite only just watching Brad’s reaction. Honestly, it should be a feat to make music so genuinely bad that it even makes AJR seem tolerable like yeah, their music is pretty shitty but in the end it’s just childhood regression, harmless fun and radio-friendly instrumentals. This on the other hand is either extremely generic and safe or the writing is so fucking bad that it’s actually offensive to the ears and does nothing but make me physically pissed off.

And with MOTOMAMI, I just had a lot of fun. It's kinda like trap in a way. Artists can still make it sound fresh in 2022, but a good majority of it is decently stale at this point.

We the hispanics wanted to hear something new, this pop/hip-hop stuff is new to us, we got tired of hearing the typical hispanic pop music. So by switching genres to a more hispanic influenced pop music they have created the same shit we stopped wanting to hear while also making their old audience no longer want to hear their music. So basically they have created music for no one.

Lyrics are written in the Uber there.

I wasn't surprised that the Black Eyed Peas would pander to Filipinos, considering that Allan Pineda (one of the members) is from Pampanga, PH. "Filipina Queen" wasn't the first time for Pineda to make a song about Filipinas (i.e., "Bebot"). Black Eyed Peas used to be quite popular here in the Philippines (I'm not aware if they still are popular). I don't know how it's working for them, but it is for sure an effort to keep their relevance, I guess.

Hey Brad, you should really listen to their 2018 album Masters of the Sun Vol. 1. It’s supposed to be kinda like a return to their original hip hop sound pre-fergie. I heard once it’s their best album in a while, but didn’t sell well. Guess that explains why they pivoted to latin music. It would be great if you could listen to it, cuz im curious what it sounds like, but after this I really dont think I can stomach another black eyed peas album.
