Gardening is such a joyful adventure. You never know what is going to pop up all on its own from seeds that fell last season or how the new tomato will taste or the exact color of the zinnia...

What area of the country are you in? I'm so glad that I found your channel because you're the type of gardener that I aspire to be lol. Rustic, DIY, affordable. I'm curious about how your climate, and soil, compares to mine so that I can keep that in mind when getting inspiration from you.

I am so thankful that your garden is thriving in all of that heat! I came to see the tomato trail, it is so fun to see all of the varieties. I don't know what you would have to do to convince Thomas, but I think you need another "garden shed" because as soon as I saw the shelves I saw it as the perfect drying room. just a thought with all the free heat available. Also oddly enough I saw a video yesterday where they used the holes of a grater to remove herbs from the stem quickly( they pulled it through the holes and up from the top) Great video.!

Thanks for always sharing your passion for gardening; people do not know the intense satisfaction of growing your own food until you actually start doing so. I think growing good organic food nourishes not only your body but your soul/soil :) and the wonderful cycle continues because the more you do it, the more passionate you become. This passion never gets old unlike lots of things in life that lose its luster after repetition. I love growing food more and more each year, even this year which is cold and rainy and I may not see a pumpkin or butternut :( My cold loving plants are in in great abundance :) Much blessings to all you gardeners out there and especially those who are taking steps to start the journey of growing food.

Hey!!! I'm not having any issues with beetles! It's a little rabbit that I've found in the garden munching on bean leaves that I have to find a solution for!! Someone just mentioned this for pests and when I read the article it works for beetles as well! www.epicgardening.com/kaolin-clay/

When The Lord God gives you YOUR marching orders, you set your mind and heart on doing what He has told YOU. It is not your job to look around to see what someone else is doing. You do not hinge your movement based upon whether someone else moves. You move when He tells YOU to move because YOUR orders have YOUR name on them. YOU are liable for what YOU do; not what someone else does. Set yourself free from trying to keep watch over a bunch of stuff God hasn’t given you clearance to be trying to watch.🙏🏽

Hi, oh yea gardening is a wonderful thing I love it, I have my chairs carpet under my sugar apple tree so relaxing, your garden is beautiful looking great see those long beans I use to grow the green ones every time it’s aphids galore so I stop and continue to grow the ordinary string beans, they use to look so dirty on my beens can’t stand the look of them, but your garden is bouncing with food will see you next time ❤

What a beautiful picturesque garden seat you have! I can just imagine how lovely that is! 😍 I am noticing that the long beans absolutely attract aphids!

Love how you step out of the box with your creativity. FYI - Black tends to show all the dirt and scratches. Did you consider using laminate. Makes it easy to clean.
@ourfreedomsong5 ай бұрын
Thank youuuu! I did actually consider laminate. I already had the black paint though so I wanted to try it and see how it worked! I also considered putting a rug in here (if I can find the right one) which would help with some of the scuffing!

I'm happy to hear that you love our garden. It's definitely a diverse space which I absolutely love. I'm so happy to create a space that brings me and my family joy and I'm happy that I get to share it with all of you guys! In this specific video, I showed you what we are currently working on ( the garden shed) as well as a tomato harvest (that my girls collected) as well as a look at the new aparagaus long beans that were growing in the garden which I also harvested. I'm sorry if you were under the impression that I would only be showing vegetables and how they were growing. It will definitely always be a mix of whatever is going on in the garden! 🫶🏾
