If only more shops were like yours, they would all be busy and have happy " repeat " customers. Last shop I went to charged me $58 to put a fuel line clip on that they had used a ziptie that did not hold. They did not even blink when they gave me the bill. I will never go back. Thank you for all you and your people do !!!

I just took a recently purchased car to a shop for a rattling/flapping noise in the engine bay. I couldn’t have been clearer about my main concern was the noise. Secondarily I wanted a general inspection. They supposedly were inspected the car and “couldn’t isolate” the noise. BUT … they concluded that I need new struts and a few bushings quoted at $3,100. They charged me $180 and probably didn’t actually even put it on the rack. This car is a 2017 Mazda 3 with 88k miles. Perhaps it does need struts in the near future but that’s not my primary concern. Especially since there’s no clunks, leaks, or drivability issues relating to suspension. It seems impossible to find a decent shop in Los Angeles. It’s not necessarily the owners that are the problem-many times it’s the technicians cutting corners or not doing the work that the customers are paying for. I’m at my wits end trying to find a reputable shop.

I'm a viewer who the years have caught up with. I do enjoy working on cars, however my Toyotas don't afford many opporunities. I enjoy your channel and find great comfort in seeing you succeed. My first Toyota was a 1991 Camry DX, which, to be honest, I hated. I longed for the day that it wore out, and if Toyota fixed the multitude of deficiencies, I could buy a new one. Finally, after 252,000 hard miles, I sold it. I now have a 2003 Camry XLE, a 2006 Highlander Base, and a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. I perform 100% of my own service and repairs. Thanks to you, I gain new insights and confidence.

More growth isn't always the right way to go. Sometimes a good business turns bad as a result of too much expansion too quickly, which is Toyota's story of late. It's better to settle into a comfortable volume for a while and really refine the operation before even thinking about expansion.

I have been following your account for more than 3 years, and I feel so happy for your garage and that you have a lot of customers. I did not know almost anything about cars and my love for Toyotas arrived because all the detail information you have been sharing in your channel, I have learnt a lot. I live in Canada and yes, rust is common in cars, there is a strong recommendation to check how rusty the cars is before buying it. A nostalgic personal mention: You reminded of of my dad, he has a soft and kind voice. My dad is a mechanic and we barely spent time with him growing up because he was at his garage all the time or on roads fixing cars and dealing with all the papers. I believe the problem with my dad was that he do not set boundaries with his customers with his schedule because he even works on weekends. I'm glad you have an schedule for your employees and respect it. Hoping you have a balance life being a owner business have a lot of responsibilities.

OE parts are great and all but I'm doing a brake job. 1k Canadian for the rotors and pads from a local dealership. Online a tad cheaper. I went with Akebono pads which is what Toyota uses and raybestos rotors. Are they the best rotors? I can't say. But 395 all in from rock auto to my door vs 1k. We need to use OEM where it counts and on other places if we can get by we should. This is not a rebuke of your comment but just a comment to add 😊

Having managed and “worked with” numerous employees, I commend your management style. Once I filtered through many employment applications, interviewing many candidates, hired an employee,,,, they became someone I worked with. I never took credit for their work. Sort of a partnership. My first rule was this,,,,,,,you are more important than the job. If you get sick or need to take family to a Dr appt,,,,we will cover your work while you are absent. In return, you will have our back if we need to be absent. A few took advantage of me and wouldn’t last. Most appreciated and reciprocated our value proposition and our high standards for our completed work.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I wish you were closer to me in Niagara Falls Ontario, because I would be your number one customer behind all the other number one customers! I’ve owned 10 or 11 new Toyotas over the last 30 years and the majority of them have gone to the dealer except my last one that I own now. For reasons I won’t get into right now I’ve kept this car for 10 years. And I’ve kept it in immaculate condition and following your recommendations have had the oil change every 8000 km without fail. I have only had two issues one being an oxygen sensor which was replaced by my garage people and just recently I had to have a right rear wheel bearing replaced. Of course the first thing I did was went to your website to check to see whether or not my original diagnosis might be correct and it was. Before I even brought it in to my garage I told him that I felt it was a wheel bearing. They originally were going to look for something cheaper than the original OEM hub, but I told him no. I did not want a Frankenstein car. I wanted a Toyota. It was a little bit more pricey, obviously with, their diagnosis plus their labour and the part from Toyota. But it’s back as good as new. I do appreciate all you do for your customers and I wish I was one of them. I’m looking seriously for a new vehicle but I just cannot pick out one that meets my needs at the moment. I am hoping for a new Sienna, or if Toyota gets moving, perhaps even a new Toyota Stout pickup truck. If they ever get one in into production.

@@sabni8668 … not really. In his early years he lived in Lewiston, New York, which is fairly close. But now he apparently moves between Rhode Island and Tennessee as I understand it.

Because of this channel I’ve been doing routine maintenance on my 2020 Tacoma. I’ve taken it to two different Toyota dealerships and they seem to not be able fix anything so if it’s something I can do I do it.

Every car has a story. Must be a satisfying feeling knowing that you are honest and do a good job with such important parts of people's lives. Wish you were in my area. Honest and capable people to work with are not easy to find.
