Legit people picked magic and Jordan over larry way back when 😂😭like who has their own shoes . Magic does . Jordan obviously does. Wtf is a bird it doesn’t exist 😂it’s not about race it’s about how exciting they are I think fighting shows that better than any other sport if doesn’t matter how you look somewhat how you act but mainly about excitement

She’s not great. Got all the calls in college and now she’s not and it shows how regular her talent is. She can become great but highly doubt it from someone that can’t play defense and unless they surround her with the other two best shooters like they did for Steph their team won’t be successful.

MJ won a NCAA chip, Tiger won Masters at 21, they have crowned CC has the Queen but she has not won anything and lost to Cardozo this year and Reese last year . Reese is responsible for a lot of her popularity because of the drama from last year , just like Bird and Magic ..people love a hero and a villain , a white hero and a black villain is even more appealing . You say she is great, great players when championships . She is exciting yes ...but the hype is more than just because her play

Seriously tho, I saw an article and a post game interview with Breanna Stewart and her coach a few days ago after playing the Fever where after 2 games against the Fever they have reported a 2+ million dollar in revenue in just those 2 games, the most ever in their franchise history. Even Stewart threw her hands up and yelled woo live and was impressed by the numbers, some of them are starting to see the Clark effect, just gonna take a lil time for more of them to appreciate and respect it so that everyone can reap the rewards.

The only thing holding the WNBA back now is the players themselves and the media who advocates for them. No matter how anyone feels, the largest population in the United States remains caucasian people. That demographic is going to spend money, go to games, and tune in to watch games. Without that demographic, NO SPORT survives in the US. Not a single one outside of Soccer. That demographic is keeping Hockey alive and that isn't racist to say, it's just the truth and the WNBA is right to HEAVILY push Clark.

I think it's pretty cool that Pat is so ride or die for the city he lives in. He's clearly pretty passionate here because he's sick and tired of Clark being treated the way she is by her haters. Who have ZERO reason to hate and are just in some strange kind of denial. You don't have to like her, but you should at least respect that she was a massive catalyst for your league and you're all going to be better off for it. I'm not comparing her to Tiger by any stretch, but I do believe he was hated on quite a bit for several years on Tour and by the time he was a bit passed his prime, all the players were basically kissing his feet for bringing all those big pay days. Instead of hating on Clark, the league as a whole needs to rally around her an embrace her and make sure she succeeds. The only way to move the needle in pro sports is if you have players like her.

However, the games were not appealing, so I never saw another WNBA game, live or on TV. I got caught up in the Caitlin Clark effect and try to watch her a much as possible. Yeah, she is whyte but my mother reared me with Christian principles. I am shocked at the racism and hatred towards Caitlin. As a Black man, I'm perceptive of Racism and its effects. As a retired engineer, one thing that I have learned is that envy, Jealousy, coveting, and hate never improves a product. I see why the WNBA has been straight trash for 20+ years.

@@Oneanddone14 All you've said is that they bring more money, I don't disagree with that. The quality of the fans are awful though. Caitlin Clark fans on average are horrible sports fans, they want Clark coddled and any opposition to her is met with calls of racism. The structure of this video we're talking about is just all about money, not the quality of the games, not winning games, not winning National Championships. No, it's about TV ratings and jersey sales. You've done the same thing. I know that the WNBA now has more people watching, but the quality of the new fans are horrible sports fans. I'm not talking about normal trash talk, I'm fine with saying things about their game, "Reese hasn't broken any records," "Clark hasn't won anything," those are fine and is healthy trash talk about the game. Calling Reese and that LSU team a bunch of thugs or saying Clark is only getting attention because she's white comes from horrible sports fans that shouldn't be watching the sport. People who do that for players like Larry Bird get rightfully clowned, saying he was only popular because he's white, but somehow it takes center stage in the minds of this influx of WNBA fans.

I’m sickened by lack of response of wnba to chennedys actions. Chennedy said today that she has no regrets. Disgusting behavior. I can’t have my kids watch that and then learn that refs think it’s a common foul, the wnba thinks it isn’t worth penalizing, and that’s how basketball is played. The lack of response of wnba to that behavior is unacceptable. Clark gets techs for talking to the refs. She deserves it. Chennedy can call a player a b, blind side her, hit her twice to the floor, when the ball isn’t even IN BOUNDS and the refs review and only give a common foul and worse, wnba takes 24 hours to only reluctantly give a flag 1? I’m done.

It's a good thing for your kids to learn what its like to be white today in America. You're going to get beat up for your race at some point in your life, and that's just how it is. The WNBA continues to shoot it's self in the foot. For 30 years they have yet to turn a profit. The WNBA has turned a "blind eye" to the amount and brutality of the fouls. When Angle was clotheslined and slammed to the floor. that should have been a t2, ejection with possible fine and suspension. Same with Clark. If either foul happened in the NBA, swift action would be taken, ejection only the first part. The reason they turn a blind eye is they think that's the reason fans come to the game, to see them get beat up. How has that been working for you the last 30 years? II also am getting tired of hearing about "all those that came before". If they were so good and so wonderful, why were they subsidized for the 30 years. Why didn't they have shoe deals, why were they riding busses? Because the base of the game was flawed. Fans want to see solid basketball with fouls given to players that don't respect the game or other players. When the golden goose starts laying eggs don't see how fast you can break them. The goose will stop. For parents of little kids, who do you want merchandise from Clark or Carter?

I loved this segment immensely! So brilliantly executed with so many factual punches right in the face of toxic ( dare I say?) femininity!!!! The logic behind this decision to not it her in to represent the USA in the Olympics is ludicrous and beyond embarrassing!! But keep calling it out!! ✊🇺🇸🔥
