My son gave me a marquee poster of it for Christmas. How can you beat the Duke, Bob Mitchum, a young James Caan and lots of eye candy in Michelle Carey and Charlene Holt. Ride Boldly Ride! A little on the corny side in spots but still great entertainment. Surely beats the CGI crap thats coming out of Hollywood now. Even the biggest stars are in some real gaggers. What I like most about this scene.. "I want to see how he does this...." He knew whatever the method was, it worked 3 times before....and had no doubt it would work again.... He gets Charlie up, just to see how the "no-gun" guy would kill Charlie...... The utter confidence was everything...... If I had been Charlie, I'd not have even twitched.
