In 1978, for the FIRST time, my husband to be showed me how to install a top of the line Pioneer AM/FM 8 track Radio with mega speakers in my 1945 Willy’s Jeep with full roll cage and removable canvas top! Boy those were the days…. Good thing there were no sound restrictions back then…. The highways were ours! 😉 …things were so much simpler then 😉 Enjoy your new Sound!

Great memory indeed. I still have my Pioneer AM/FM Quadraphonic 8 track with bass boost. This deck was a removable deck, pretty high end for it's time. Those were the days indeed. Now my youngest Daughter has a stereo in her Veloster that will make your brain numb and possibly make you have a bodily malfunction if you're not careful...lol.

I had a seat belt chime issue in my big rig. I just found the plug going to the clip side of the seat belt by the seat, unplugged it and jumped the wires together. Maybe I missed if you already tried that one, I sometimes ask not entirely sober when I'm watching KZbin at night.

Matt I have a 2021 Chevy Express 2500 and three days ago I installed a Kenwood touch screen receiver to replace the useless stock unit. Mine has a tethered USB and it's long enough to come out under the dash by the power inverter on mine and I just plug my flash drive into it with all of my music! I bought the PAC kit which wired from the receiver and plugged directly into the stock harness. It's great when you don't have to cut wires lol! I also bought a Metra trim kit and everything fits like a glove! A huge improvement over the stock!

Your water tank vents to atmosphere along with your fuel tank. Seeing they are next to each other in an enclosed compartment, every time you draw water, you draw in fuel fumes hence bad tasting water
