Your work is amazing. Thank you for showing Georgia's beauty. I am in Augusta S.E. I love just driving and finding beautiful old places like this.

My wife’s family (and myself) attend that church every Mother’s Day. If you’d like more info on history I could put you in contact with my in-laws!

Hey Joel, that would be great! I would love to see the inside of it.

I am liking the long exposure look to sky with the streaming stormy clouds . But the color one is pretty perfect too !

I just caught the Tennesse power T on the back of the car. I was wondering why I was enjoying your vlogs so much! ha! And, yeah, I've had my Groundhog Day moments with my photography. I feel for you! ha!

Ha ha yes my wife and I both went to Tennessee! Sometimes it takes a while to get "the shot" but I don't mind doing it. I just take it as part of the process.

The long exposure is my favorite but I’m bias because I shoot mostly long exposures. lol Awesome job man and persist definitely pays off, took me 3 years to get a shot of the Georgia Guidestones that fit my taste and style.

Hey man thanks a lot! And yes there are some iconic locations that I like to go photograph, and while I have a bunch of photos of them I still feel like I could do better. Part of the allure of photography I guess :)

Appalachian Apertures that’s why I love photography it’s not easy to get that perfect shot and makes you try again and again.

This is my biggest struggle: patience. I'm such an impatient person that I often miss excellent opportunities. Well, that and my weak artistic skills. Nevertheless, if I could just figure out how to slow down, I'm sure it would pay dividends... though, I must admit, I cringed internally at the thought of returning five times to get the shot that you intended. :-) Personally, I like your first shot best - the storminess of the clouds was a great juxtaposition of the serenity of the church. Regardless, all were good shots and I appreciated the video - thanks!

Hey Curt thanks a lot! And I totally understand where you are coming from. I used to have a different approach to photography where I would want to talk around and just take a lot of photos. Now I try to focus in on one particular shot that I think has a lot of potential and if it is near my house, I will keep returning until I get something I really like.

I think I like the stormy sky better too. The colors of the final shot are good but the cloud pattern isn't as appealing. Question - what is the name of the app you use for sunsets, sunrises, etc. Thanks & keep the videos coming!

Hey Scott I use TPE (The Photographer's Ephemeris) for all of my planning. I also have Photopills and it is quite good.
