Giselle- please don’t be so hard on yourself regarding the vlog being interesting enough. You bring something incredibly interesting to KZbin! I cannot go to a Hutterite colony and observe the life there. So what seems like mundane to you is fascinating to the rest of the world. Plus- I watch people who have something in their personality that resonates with me, they usually have good souls and you definitely have that, otherwise you wouldn’t have such a following and devoted subscribers. They are wonderful and welcoming people and I have been invited out because one time at my local Walmart store, I helped a lady who was from a local Hutterite colony to show her in the store where the cushions were as we were both admiring a outdoor swing set and she was so kind and appreciated me helping her that she invited me to please come visit their colony and I thought that was so kind of her to do that even though I was a complete stranger! Anyways, Giselle keep up the good work, we enjoy your enthusiasm and zest for life!

We take the date pit out, and then stuff the date with either peanut or another nut butter, and then dip them in chocolate. Store in the fridge. Yummy! You can also soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes or so, drain, and then blend them in a food processor with walnuts and a little cinnamon. Roll into balls, and rolls the balls in either chopped nuts or dip in chocolate. Chill.

I’m so glad you posted the video! Your happiness in swimming, cooking, Kona, the flowers, etc., makes me happy. Remember, joy is contagious! 😊 I planted some glads last year. They came up this year and, just as their blooms were ready to open, something came along and ate the blossoms!! We think that maybe the groundhogs that live here ate them. Hm. I’m not sure what I’m going to do about that, but I’ll have to figure out something if I want to see them bloom. So excited to see you’re able to grow some Sea Buckthorn. I heard about it years ago and had thought about trying to grow it, but we didn’t have gardening space at the time. It’s lovely to be reminded of the plant and to see how yours does. Another alternative pizza crust would be to make the one that uses yogurt. There are several recipes on the internet. It’s high in protein and easy to make. It might be interesting to add chopped spinach to one of those recipes (as well as garlic powder).

For your glads have you ever thought of putting in some vertical support? It could be as easy as some tall and thin bamboo stakes. You could just put them in amongst your glads and if one needs some help just tie it up to the stake 🤷🏻‍♀️. Easy peasy 👍🏼

I loved this vlog!! It’s nice to see you relaxing and having fun otherwise we would have the false impression that you only work all the time!! You work hard so it does my ❤ good to see you relaxing and having fun! By the way I have a modest bathing suit made by Aqua Modesta that is a surf top with 3/4 sleeves and a bottom which is a below knee skirt with built in leggings of bathing suit material. I get a lot of ladies who are not all Christians but concerned about skin cancer asking where I got it. It’s very comfortable to swim in.

I enjoy seeing your videos, and what your life looks like! It's so nice to see that you wear modest swim clothing. 😊You could try using zucchini instead of broccoli for the pizza crust. I have a recipe that uses zucchini, eggs, cheese, and a little bit of seasonings. It's really good and it turns out great. . Four cups shredded zucchini, two cups cheese, two eggs and half teaspoon salt, fourth teaspoon each garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Mix the zucchini and salt, let stand 10 minutes. Drain the water from the zucchini and mix the rest of the ingredients in. Pour into grease 9x13 and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Top with your favorite pizza toppings and baked till heated through

I also prefer modest swimwear. I learned, however, that you shouldn’t swim in regular clothing because the material can become too heavy when it absorbs the water, and it can be unsafe. So I purchased a pair of swim shorts and a swim shirt that are made with swimsuit/wet suit material and don’t hold as much water and carry that weight. My shorts are knee length and don’t cling to my body, and my shirt has elbow-length sleeves. Nicely modest and safe to wear in the water. I got them on Amazon pretty cheap, and I highly recommend that anyone who is looking for modest swimwear go this route.

I've made cauliflower crust pizza before. It's difficult to get all the water out. I ended up putting golfball size amounts in a towel and squeezing it. It looked great. 1st bite or two tasted great, but then it tasted like cauliflower. BTW, I enjoyed the video! I don't usually watch your videos all the way through but I did this one.

Where do start....? Before i even knew that you were going to be critical of your video i thought " i need to tell Giselle how much I enjoy her lifestyle videos. I'm 48 and have 3 children 20,22,and 25 ,so very close to your age. How ever , your vlogs resonate with me very much ! I am not Hutterite but live simply and wear modest clothing. In fact , your swim wear looks exactly like mine and my 25 year old daughters. When you show your daily life I am encouraged in my Faith in God and in my work habits at home. To keep busy and to serve my family. I found your blog after researching the Hutterites , their life and what they believe. My interest peaked after i visited my local Hutterite garden stand . Every Tuesday when i would go and pick out some cabbage or pickled beets ,standing with those women i feel more at home then i do being with " English ". Anyways, please know that those of us who subscribe to your channel are genuinely interested and connected to your life. Don't feel the need to play it up or " make it interesting " . Simple lifeblogs of any of my favorite youtubers basically are doing the same things i do every day - cook,clean,walk in the fresh air and watch a glorious sunset. Somehow, and in some way, those of us who do these things are a Community. And it makes us feel less alone. We are Sisters ❤
