Why would she buy a gun and go to a remote area to kill herself only to be killed by someone else? His truck was on camera. Having bruises really doesn't mean anything at all. I have a child with a malignant narcissist. Until you've walked a mile in this kind of a relationship you have no idea what an absolute head f@#$ it is. There is absolutely no way out except for strict no contact. I left when I was 6 months pregnant because I discovered I was one of 3 women he had on the go. It took nearly a decade for him to leave me alone. Before you diagnose yourself with a mental illness, just be careful you are not surrounded by an arsehole (and his minions.) Narcs are attracted to good, kind hearted, empathic people because they see them as an excellent source of supply. Mica did not deserve this and needed help to understand that she did deserve a kind and loving relationship and that she had every right to implement unequivocal boundaries. I am so sorry that it came to this for her. It's absolutely devastating and heartbreaking. 😥💔 For my part, I am so grateful that I managed to get away alive, even though it has meant parenting 24/7 on my own. There is a way out but the road is really, really long and really, really hard and it feels like walking on glass the whole way. Still totally worth it though to have peace in my heart and in my child's life. We were both worth it. Despite what he thought and had no hesitation in telling me. I learned SO much along the way. He still has access, visitation and phone rights and there was a lengthy and costly court process involved in my country around this, but in reality he rarely exercises these rights as the cost of travel is prohibitive to him.
