Rewatch it and tell me again where are Beterbievs highlights in those rounds specifically. And most of the highlights that that do show Bivols clean landing shots are reshown in different angles. Rewatch it and come back to me. Everyone on the streams were calling that out.

Beterbiev swept the last 3 rounds. Bivol was in survival mode in round 10 until the last moments where he did land a good combo, but how can you give him the round for just one good moment? Round 11 is self-explanatory. In round 12, Bivol would flurry to try to keep Artur away, but he literally didn't land anything clean. Again, how can you give him the 12th when Artur was the one doing the damage and being the ring general? So unless you think Bivol won 7 of the first 9, idk how you can have Bivol winning the fight...

There's was only 5 punches more landed over 12 rounds more power punches from beterbiev...aggression from beterbiev after round 3. Bivol was winning when controlling centre ring and conceded after round 3. Beterbiev won One judge was a little bit wrong but ultimately correct

In the last 3 rounds Bivol was constantly tying Beterbiev, pushing his head down during the clinch and even using a bit of headbutting. That sealed the deal for me, Bivol didn't want any of Beterbiev in the championship rounds.

And people wonder why close distance fighting is dying... The ref was favoring Bivol all fight long. He kept warning Artur for everything but never once warned Bivol for stiff arming...

It was a close fight but Beterbiev won it fair and square. Stats dont lie: 1) Beterbiev threw twice the amount of punches bivol did 2) Beterbiev landed slightly more than bivol 3) Beterbiev was the aggressor and kept the pressure all the time 4) Beterbiev won the championship rounds

The stats show that Beterbiev was throwing twice as many punches yet only landed the same amount. Which means Bivol was being defensively far better and evading/blocking the majority of what Beterbiev did. Bivol landed the cleaner shots at a far higher percentage.

Beterbiev 7-5 for me personally. Commentary at DAZN was actually disgraceful. Brushing over anything beterbiev did and praised Bivol throughout the fight. The highlights in-between rounds were showing only Bivols good work. Clearly gave some people a false perception of the fight.

Whatever anyone thinks the judges were pretty close. 114 v 114, was only 1 round different from the 115 v 113 score. 116 v 112 actually agreed with 1 judge on 11 rounds, and the other on 10 rounds. Not a lot happened in the first 4 rounds. It wasn't a robbery, there were a lot of very close rounds.

They need a clear scoring system, there's like 6 categories that boxing is judged on and they need to agree on a weighting 40% punches landed 30% damage done 20% ring generalship 10% defence Whatever those % are is irrelevant they just need it consistent. Something a bit more thought out than I've done above there would help. Could even be variations sometimes as long as the fighters know where the goalposts are

Teddy Atlas and Carl Frampton 7-5 to Beterbiev ,same as me and a lot of fans ,For me it was a massive tactical error on Bivols part. he would rack up a points lead at start of the round then chill . Then he would let Arthur gain momentum by throwing punches and coming forward for most of the round. judges are harsh towards “negative” fighters who are moving a lot backwards. Aim should be to dominate the rounds not just secure early part of them and back peddle like he was . That’s where Bivol lost that fight .

It all comes down to what you prefer. I think holding centre is pointless if you being picked off on the outside. I think aggression doesn't outshine tactical evasion and slips. I don't think going balls out is wise; getting the round and then countering when opens present themselves is smart and as bivol is a purist not a brawn is better boxing. And when people say he hurt bivol, so, obviously the nature of the sport? You can get hit once and shaken and the other dude can get 50 point scoring points, who wins then? The pont l scorer, because that's the rules

From round two, Arthur was the only one applying effective aggression , which always suggests a position of dominance and ring generalship over Bivol . Judges look for effective aggression, where the aggressor consistently controls where the fight leads to , especially American judges . Imho there was times in that fight Bivol looked vulnerable to each Arthur attack ,like was capable of Arthur stopping him . Now whether that was true or not, visually that’s how it looked to those judges. Any person that calls that robbery must have a vested interest or agenda , or never watch the fight before and their life lol

While watching the fight live ,TNT commentator and his co commentator both had beterbive winning the fight comfortably, the professional boxers in the studio had him winning comfortably, i don't know what the fuss is about, The reason his corner was disappointing at the end was because for once he hasn't had a knock out.

Artur won this fight. The unified champ put his three belts on the line yes he fought safely because a lot at stake and deservedly Undisputed Champ. Bivol should have tried harder and convinced judges that Canello's fight wasn't a fluke. Bivols team is a sore loser's you should be thankful that in boxing no round13 because bivol was wash up and ready for KO. In the rematch, he will be KO by Artur the King.

He was being walked down for 12 rounds and was afraid to engage except in short flurries which would half land. He just did an interview where he says the same -he was afraid of being knocked out. Or maybe you know more than he does? People/judges don't like negative fighters. Judges score aggression, ring generalship and damage. Beterbiev was better in all three. Beterbiev threw >1000 punches and outworked Bivol. This is not the amateurs where you are trying to score points; this is the undisputed championship FFS - I wouldn't want to crown a coward as an undisputed champion.

For me, the 12 rounds were split 3 ways, 4 clear Bivol Rounds, 4 clear AB rounds, 4 close swing rounds. With that in mind, I can see the 116-112. Because that judge gave all the close rounds to AB, who, if we are honest, was the aggressor and finished strongly to each of those swing rounds. I scored it to AB by 2 rounds. I do think more rounds in boxing should be 10-10. Very close rounds should be even. If you don't clearly win a round it should be even, when both boxers land the same number of shots in a nip and tuck round, it should be 10-10

He fought bravely most of the fight but In the end chose to cover up and run 🐔and hopefully win by points for fear the man in front of him. He realized it after the fact reason why he said " I could have done more." I don't blame him but I'm no boxer . If he get's the chance once more to unify any weight class. He should stand there in front of his opponent and demand to be victorious. The way Beterbiev clearly did.

I'm sick to death of Eddie Hearn he's becoming bad for boxing , firstly he accuses beterbiev of being arrogant , why cause he dosnt talk crap ,throw tables, and hit other fighters . Then he screams it's a cheat and bivol robbed , no Eddie it was a draw at best for Bivol , he was terrified to fight ,he knew he would get knocked out , but Bivol was great he fought how he had too to survive and win if he could , betwrbiev will knock him out next time And for me beterbiev wasn't on top form cause he was drained from all the media ,stupid questions, interviews ,drained him . There are all sorts of problems and inaccuracies with 'punch stats'...e.g. If a fighter throws a feint or dummy punch it will be counted by computer or button presser as a 'miss'...but in reality it is a deliberate skill to manipulate or trick the opponent. Similar, a fighter may paw out with a range finder to measure the opponent's distance, again this will be recorded as a 'miss', when it isn't a miss at all, it is just simply lining up an opponent or pretending to, while something else goes on. And there area ll sorts of jabs, hooks, straights, uppercuts and crosses...they are not all of same skill, difficulty and effect, they vary greatly. Sometimes throwing and landing a particular type of punch maybe in fact a mistake in boxing terms and show lack of skill and poor tactics. It isn't maths or a game of tag, like 1+1=2. There are lots of nuances and lots of skills on display, lots of tactics, techniques and there is no accurate or fair way to measure them or quantify them against each other. Close fights of clashing styles and tactics will always be debatable. If both fighters land the same but another threw a lot more, you can say one has been more efficient and accurate, but you can the other has been more aggressive and some of those extra shots may have been tactical, punch stats and video replays etc can never reconcile or solve those sort of things. What about three little tippy-tappy jabs at close range, from an extended arm, barely travelling any distance on an unguarded, opponent as opposed to one fast and strong jab landing through a guard on a mobile, elusive opponent (however, those three little jabs could be part of a tactic or diversion)...or a jab that was set up by feints or superior movement etc... So many complexities, only idiots reduce this to punches landed etc. Fighting and boxing are much more complex than that.

At the end of the day Bivol just looked more scared in there and was running away most of the fight. I am sure he can fight better but this night he wasnt better. He was too scared of getting KOed the whole fight and really had no proper plan how to deal with someone pressuring him. Its not a style, Bivol was scared to engage. Also exposed the fact he cant fight on the inside. There were many occasions he could have threw an uppercut when he was close. I wasnt too impressed with Beterbiev either, he had no real aggressive moments in there and kinda cruised in same energy the whole fight despite the fact he looked like he could KO Bivol. Would have loved a draw but in all fairness it wasnt. It also shuldnt have been a majority but split decision but either way Beterbiev was better. Threw more, looked more dangerous and did more damage in the end. Isnt that what boxing is about? Even Bivol admitted he wasnt his best in this fight and Artur deserved the win. These promotors are getting annoying always creating drama.

I think we should have a period where 3 judges judge at ring side and 3 in a room and see how different they are and see if its the way to do it, because watching it at home you clearly see more and from a level viewing angle and not diagonally and looking through ropes. Maybe it turns out that tv style is the more accurate way, because its nearly every fight where there is somthing
