Pretty clever, it's a huge boring head for the mill. I wouldn't mind having a smaller wolhaupter for my siege sx3 but they're out of my budget for now.

Yes they are very expensive, and honestly, if you pay full ebay price for one I’m not sure they are worth that unless you specifically need the facing feature. My smaller boring head is a Chinese one and it does everything I ask of it. The Wohlhaupter is a bit of a luxury item for us hobbyists. I happened upon mine by chance for very cheap and have heard stories of other people doing so as well. Sometimes it’s just a matter of being at the right place at the right time at industrial auctions or similar equipment sales
