Imo the reason Boruto is hosting Shibai could just be like a perfect storm of events that all culminated into the perfect vessel. Boruto being the son of a perfect sage, perfect jinchuriki, reincarnation of asura, temporary sage of six paths (on his dad's side). His mom's side giving him access to Hyuga blood giving him an even closer tie into the Otsutsuki, his mom literally almost being married to Toneri, he himself already being the vessel for a different Otsutsuki so he's gained an "immunity" to any negative effects of being said vessel or raises his comparability to a level sufficient enough for Shibai, and probably a bunch of other smaller shit I'm missing, all that shit all combined probably just made it so Boruto is the closest thing on Earth to what would be considered shibai's "perfect vessel" a la orochimaru.

correct me if i'm wrong, but if Shiki in Japanese means Four Seasons and there are four Otsutsuki with Shiki ending their name, does that mean ishiki and urashiki are more closely related to momoshiki and Kinshiki than we realize? Like, Momo means Peach which usually grows in the Summer time, Ura means back, behind or other, which could be associated to the time of Spring, and Kin means gold, which associates to Autumn, making Ishi, which means Stone, tied to the stubborn coldness of winter!

Two reasons; 1) Narratively, there was supposed to be a mystery as to what happened to Naruto, so Kawaki's terminology was vague out of context. 2) In context, the reason Kawaki wants to kill Boruto is because he wants to remove the threat of the Otsutsuki; Momoshiki still exists within Boruto and Code is carrying out Ishiki's will. However, considering what we know now of the Shinju, the final clash between Boruto and Kawaki seems to be more of a grudge match since it makes no sense for the two of them to be fighting in a destroyed Konoha with the Shinju still around. Therefore, we can conclude that either Kawaki is willing to settle on sealing Boruto away since that would get Momoshiki out of the picture without killing Boruto.... Or. Kawaki is egging Boruto on, trying to commit suicide by cop

My theory is that the good doctor was Shibai’s final victim and vessel before he transcended. It would inform why he knows so much about using otsutsuki in his experiments and why he’s been working against them so vehemently. You should do a video on all the clans descended from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. The Kaguya clan where Kimimaro came from. The Hagoromo clan that Ginkaku and Kinkaku most likely stem from. The Hamura/Moon clan that claim to be Ōtsutsuki and live on the moon, but in reality they're just descendants of Hamura Ōtsutsuki that have an Ōtsutsuki-like appearance. The Uchiha and Senju clans which obviously stem from Indra and Asura respectively. The Hyūga clan which were the descendants of Hamura Ōtsutsuki that stayed on Earth. The Uzumaki clan, which are related to the Senju. And finally, the Fūma clan, which branched off from the Uchiha.

Although I love the Boruto saga, I'm always going to be partial to Naruto and he returns as the main hero to finish this story - bringing it back full circle. I think a temporary, fake death of Boruto is the perfect opportunity to open the door for Naruto to ascend to a Shibi level. Boruto's story as the main person with some sort of confrontation with Momoshiki, Kawaki, and some form of Isshiki. Boruto takes so much damage, he becomes permanently nerfed, but he accomplishes most of his goals by "saving" Kawaki, saving Sasuke, and bringing back Naurto. Naruto is sufficiently motivated to again become the strongest, beats the real final boss (Shibi or whoever) and becomes the Hagoromo of the universe.

I think a better storyline for shibai would be that when daemon & Boruto fight Boruto’s chakra coming into contact with Daemon’s (& shibai’s since daemon has one of his jutsu) that Shibai would take possession of daemon & from there further the story or give us another cryptic message for them to figure out because after Kawaki vs Boruto we really don’t have anything else pushing the story forward

In the chapter where Eida goes shopping, Daemon tries to attack Himawari and says that she should be able to dodge it and he sensed something from her. Maybe Himawari and Boruto have dormant Otsutsuki powers since they have the same parentage (also Himawari accessing Byakugan so instinctually is said to be very rare among the Hyuuga by Hinata's Dad). I wouldn't be surprised if Himawari has a big reveal sometime in the future.
