Most of them get paid per frame, meaning the animators received their pay once they were done animating. More people watching doesn't effect their pay at all. MAPPA is a very big studio with a lot of employees to pay. I'm doubtful they'd go against the norm and actually pay their hundreds of animators what they deserve.. This is the real world

After the attack on Marley you can tell the animation quality has dropped significantly compared to the first three episodes. It’s not bad by any means but you can tell they didn’t have enough time to put as much effort as they did before and it saddens me that it was because of a deadline

For what its worth, a lot of the animators that animate specific fight scenes like this often work on multiple shows from different studios. There is a chance some of the animators who animated on Demon Slayer also work on MAPPA projects and vice versa.

@@butter3065 Not necessarily, Ufotable uses CGI in so many scenes so it's obvious choice for them. I don't mean in as a bad thing, they are extremely good at using CGI. Both studios are top tier and that's a fact.

@@brightstar9442 MAPPA is also an amazing studio that has some amazing CGI skills. I have no doubt that if MAPPA animated demon slayer it would be on par with Ufotable. These scenes are completely different and completely different in animation style as well. There isn't really a point in setting these studios against each other until they've animated scenes that are more alike.
