Hi my name is Rosie, I'm 26 and my life is a bit confusing so i'm writing this lol.
To make it easy:
- I was born in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto
- My whole family still lives there (mom, dad and my little sister Marty)
- I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn't work, i got more lost if anything).
So, I live half my life in Italy and half my life in Canada.
Also, my mom is from Moldova (country in Eastern Europe) and my dad is from Calabria (region in Southern Italy) and both my grandmas still live there. So you’ll occasionally see me going there as well.
I hope this clears things up a bit.. or maybe makes them more confusing lol.

Omg all this ice cream reminds me of when I use to go to South Georgia (USA) with my grandparents and my granddad would pick peaches and watermelons. My grandma would crack out her old ice cream maker (the one you pour ice in and turn it) and roller and cup to make homemade biscuits (my fav they use to call be biscuits for a while because I use to eat them all the time) she would mix the peaches, vanilla extract, sugar, heavy cream and alittle condensed milk in to the ice maker and omg the ice cream would be sooo thick and rich. I miss her so much but I’m keeping her alive in my cooking and baking.

I was in Italy a few weeks ago and I tried a grocery store ice cream, I think it was a Magnum caramel and chocolate ice cream and it was DELICIOUS. I mean, Gelato in general in Italy is amazing, I love your country so much, Italy always in my heart ♥️

I'm from the states the first time I tasted Magnum ice cream was in Germany. Now it's in the states for awhile now and can indulge. Haven't tasted the Bueno ice cream, but have tasted the candy, it's good.
