I've got one of those bayonets...but though it was for the M1 Carbine..I have a Danish M1 Garand Bayonet..with a wood scabbard..kinda cool.

Oh, very cool. The Danish made the laminated wood M1 bayonet scabbard. They are really nice looking. From Bayonets of the World: The scabbard body is made of Durofol, a laminated wood developed in Germany during the Second World War. It is made by impregnating beech veneers of 0.2 to 0.3 mm. thickness with 25 to 35 percent of a water-soluble phenolic resin cured under both high pressure and temperature. Post-War, Durofol KG, J. Brangs & Co. of Solingen became the exclusive manufacturer, which later became Durofol Presswerk GmbH.

I was fortunate to get a JRA BM-59 6 yrs ago. Also got the bayonet and 6 unused wrapped 20rd magazines. A beauty wish I could send pictures. The Rifle on the Italian flag looks exactly like mine . Thanks Sir

Thanks for watching! I am such a huge fan of the rifle, if it wasn't clear in my video. LOL Having the select fire rifles was a once in a lifetime experience. Those rifles are at the top of my, "I wish I never sold my... XXX." list
