I will try to explain a bit. First he talks about the world "advancing", small houses turning to apartment buildings etc... then how his family was poor, splitting the bread in half for him, making new cloths from the old ones and his father leaving the country to work and finally how his friends tried to help him "stay away from her", meaning heroin. Gia to kalo moy- for my own good. This song is about the system, everything the system does (government media etc) they say that is for your own good (but it never is). Its a song against the system.

It's an amazing song. To understand it, you have to be an older Greek. It would be much better if there was also a written English interpretation of the song for the viewers of the video. Of course, like any good song, it's still relevant today. I'm glad to hear one of my favorite songs again and from a foreing channel.

Giannis Miliokas is a great person.. I think the first album I've ever bought was Hello Baby by him and the reason for this was a hilarious videoclip of a song on it.. Sadly I can't find it on youtube.

Its a great song! As i understand, the meaning of the song is that, when others tell you that things around you happen for your own benefit, usually it is the opposite.
