I found a similar smaller building near Tunbridge Wells footings only but has the same type of chambered bricks is recorded as 2 nd world war. There is nearby another building brick but looks military and complete as there is at Fairwarp being used as Barn approx same distance away.

Sounds interesting. I don't suppose you want to give away the location here? Those bricks are very common in mainland Europe, seems strange they were used here for a short time for some military buildings.

@@Johnkels100 Hi, I would also be interested. Staying for a few days from tomorrow in Fairwarp with my 10 boys of 8 and 10, they would love to discover an ancient left-alone building like this one. So if you could also share the location with me.... thanks!

@@OnnolaRoi The building and land around has been fenced off and in use. It's still worth walking the footpaths in the area though. The W3W location is near ///idealist.taylors.wasp Walk down the track starting at the location mentioned where you'll see the derelict prisoner of war camp through the high fence on your right, across a meadow and stream. From there you can do a circular walk of about a mile on public footpaths through the woods where there are interesting rocks, hills, banks etc of an iron industry of long ago. You might find the Witch's Cavern, The Cave, and The Bog of Doom (or something like that).
