Trying another classic product that originated in the 1970’s from Italy and is still on the market today-Denim Shave Cream and Aftershave. Thanks to my friend Marcus for sending me these cool items. I’ve tried the Denim Musk a few years ago but this is the first time trying this original scent.

Denim always reminds me of what my father had in the bathroom in the late 70s and early 80s. I can remember. Brut, Denim original, Old Spice, Old Spice lime Deo Stick, Palmolive Soap Stick and a Gillette Slim Twist with a white handle. Later Drakkar noir and Blue stratos. I bought all that stuff, too (exept the slim twist).

I live in Waikiki and it will be awhile before things get back to normal. We got lucky with few Covid cases but with tourist coming in we worry about re infection. As for Italian shaving it brought back a memory of my great aunt Sofia who gave me my 1st straight razor shave....she learned how to straight shave because my great uncle had lost his hand in WWII.

Great shave. I did my first wet shave today, and luckily, it didn’t end in blood or redness. All I got was a BS finish. I also used the Personna blade for that shave, but the one I used is actually the Israeli-made Personna stainless steel blade. It still gave me a close smooth shave overall. I don’t mind where my stuff is made whether it’s from here, China, Germany, England and so on. It doesn’t matter to me as long as it’s high quality

Some of my friends, are Denim fans and say what the scent of it has not changed much. And it’s very cool. In our country, this can be ordered in an online store or from Europe for a few bucks. Paul Schneider Great videos. I like the Fatip and alternate it with the Merkur HD that you like, Rockwell C, Gillette Vintage Fatboy, Slim adjustable, 1950s tech given to the troops in the Korean war, superspeed and a 1918 open comb given to the army troops. I seem to use that boar brush most of the time and it is poraso all the way - cream, hard soap and aftershave. However, but of more near term relevance is the Wahl clippers. Got the same colored one you ordered - so did several of my friends after waiting 4 weeks - harder to get than a mask. Watched several videos, especially by doctors who started doing this in very recently Key lessons I learned from them: Go slow - and don't try for perfection - a trim is most effective - and less risky. i just cut sides and back a little and shaped thje graduations. Start with the highest number guard- and go down in numbers till you start cutting hair. Then gradually start from the bottom of the hair and use a lower (more hair is cut number) and go about 2/3 up. Shift to lower number - and go up to maybe an inch less than previous. Videos on the side burns are pretty straight as well as how to cut around the ears - either with or without the side guards. The first time that you do this - I recommend not trying to smooth and clean the bottom of the back. Wait. till another time and when you feel more comfortable with the tool as well as working with a mirror. If you have someone who can do for you - better yet. Bottom line - like shaving - you do not need BB haircut. Request -watch many of of your videos. The one that got my attention was the Viking Chieftain. I bought it based o reviews, but-after trying it twice was disgusted with the cuts with proven blades I use most of the time and just threw it i the trash. Your video in response to a request from a subscriber who also was having problems with the Chieftain like my experience. You were cutting yourself and was clearly disgusted - and actually stopped shaving with it. So, how about a short talk on your views of some of the not so good razors - you have done for razors and it is invaluable; as well as you know your blade preferences - I too like the Gillette Wilkinson sword as my number 1. this would be very informative an useful to your subscribers. Thanks

Great shave! Facts about current Denim: it's produced by 2 companies, Conter and Codaa, the first one is Italian, while the second is Swiss. Both companies make the Denim products in Italy. Both have Original, Musk and Black in their portfolios, while the others are different. I have 14 Denim scents (after shaves) in my den 😎. P.S. The ones made by the Italian company last longer and come in better packaging.

Hello Andrei. A few months ago I discovered an originally packaged DENIM that had been unopened for 40 years at a flea market. DENIM was currently run by Elida Gibbs from London, was manufactured for the German market in Hamburg, which I didn't quite understand as a real Italian product. Those tube packaged shave creams are cool. Just wish they were packed in smaller tubes so they’d meet the TSA guidelines for carry ons. All the ones I’ve found are larger than the guideline allows.

From your carefree insertion of the blade, it looks as if your razor doesn't present blade alignment issues. That's the one knock I've heard about Fatip's razors. I hope yours is the more typical case, since it was only yesterday that I ordered myself a Fatip Genitle despite the alignment rumors.
