As much as I want to trash talk an Imperial Fist, Sigismund is one of the few who I actually like. The fact that Abaddon, even centuries later, still pleads with Sigismund to join his cause, to see the truth, as he did, even though he knows that the Templar will be unwavering in his duty speaks VOLUMES about both men.

BrotherFluffy I also love how when Abaddon is recalling the final duel between the two of them he admits that if Sigismund had still been in his prime then Abaddon would have lost. The simple fact that it states that Sigismund didn’t even need power boosts or anything like that just shows how badass he was.

Back when I was planning on making a Black Crusaders army, I always had plans to paint over the IMPERATOR REX on the sword and instead paint VENIMUS (an approximate Latin translation of “we are coming”) so that it could be the original Black Blade. Out of all the Warhammer characters that have ever been, I have to give the most love to Sigismumd. Primarchs are cool, and out of the still-living characters I’ve got love for Dante, but nothing will top the story of Sigismund for pure Space Marine-ness

Sigismund father died(from lungs sickness) when he was just a boy. He have to fight to survive, he was not a strongest child, but he was fast. Very, very fast(The Solar War) After revealing the truth to Dorn, Sigi was crushed, he basically wanted to die in fight. But a few moments before his death, Brother Boreas, First Lieutenant of the Templars, First Company. Forced Sigismund to take a vow that Sigismund, never stops fight & never surrender. ‘You will die as your weakling father died. Soulless. Honourless. Weeping. When he and Garro both embraced the Imperial Cult, that the God-Emperor of Man was more than a mere super man, they both became nigh unstoppable because of their religious zeal. I respect these two individuals above ALL other individual Space Marines. The Black Templar’s are second best chapter, next to Salamanders.

Breon Wogan and the fact that despite being so old and past his prime, Sigismund still came pretty darn close to killing Abaddon. Abandon even states later on that he would not have stood a chance if Sigismund was still in his prime.

ItalianSpartacus Wish GW would do another civil war or go on the verge of one with the lion awakening on dantes side of the galaxy and expanding his legion in secret declaring himself lord of imperium nihilus replacing dante who cant do shit since hes a primarch then uses the tchulcha engine to police his part of the imperium maybe guilliman confronts him finds the tchulcha engine it tells guilliman it lnew lion since horus heresy and guilliman thinks lion might actually be a demon loving traitor yada yada would save the mary sue direction gw is taking this where girlyman gets laid by yvrainne and is the bestest and coolest leader ever and nobody ever fought again the END. Or maybe lion will see emperors corpse and decides that he must do what his father did and go on a crusade to rebuild and reshape the imperium to his fathers dream and replace roboute who is being worshipped and seen as the emperors inheritor which we all know lion is gonna be jealous that the guy he gave his life for gave his sword to some blue smurf who camped on macragge while the heresy was going on? idk just want some spice the lion to see roboute with xenos sides with eclessiarchy who see lion as a chance to challenge roboute and lion may even go along with the whole religion thing better to keep his true self and secrets this way like how he just goes along with everything or maybe he goes straight into the warp to face luthor coming out as a legion and meeting roboute idk so many paths gw can take but who knows maybe roboute will do order 66 with his primaris and regular space marines side with lion and his new legion

Hey Italian, do you think that vulkan may make a return, and the salamanders lore flushed out with it, now with the new canon/ Bobby G back? I think having the best patriarchs back would allow for a lot of cool story progression. Plus with the rift it would be interesting to see a sort of return of the old Horus style primarch vs primarch battles that have been loved for so long. Also p.s. finally managed to find a copy of the teclis/Tyrion trilogy and am super excited to finally read it! Keep up the great work!

There's been some really cool changes, ultramarines are so OP now, these primaries dudes are cool, i am having so much fun just learning the lore, and trying to pick which chapter suits me based on the lore and how I think I would like to play strategically. Rogal Dorn is not a better duelist than Sanguinus. Sanguinus should have been the first emperor's champion. It was Rogal Dorn. Sigusmunds inherited the title.
