All my family are from Abruzzo. My mother came to UK in the 60’s, where I was born, but a part of my heart will always be in Abruzzo, even long after my dear Nonna has passed away, and the family is no longer close… I still have wonderful memories.

My father made a similar zucchini frito. Waiting for a work friend give me some fresh garden Zucchini to make my own. While I can not compare to the fine food of Italy, you did miss another batch of my famous trippa on Saturday. Today we had some flounder sandwiches. Some tartar sauce, little ketchup, mozz and a squeeze of Balsamic.
@tron3entertainment6 жыл бұрын
Family is holding up, thank the Lord. No Zucchini yet. Have to ask my friend. Defrosting the last of the trippa. My brother practically eats it frozen. I do not know if you want to put it on your show, but you could introduce trippa to a new generation. I make it 10 pounds at a time and it can hardly last. If you come to visit I will have to make 20 lbs. Goes great with Ziti. Monday I made quick version of turkey / chicken meatballs. Yes, I am Italian American and had it with spaghetti. Sometimes with Ziti.
