Ladies and Gentlemen - Google "Northern Virginia data center market" - The data Center market is huge in Northern Virginia - Microsoft Azure and AWS Cloud skills are in great demand based on the recent allocations of Government Cloud Services. This is where the money is at as a Developer, Systems Admin, Architect skill set levels. If you're new to cloud learn basic Linux skills. As he stated in the video please do not forget IBM and their Cloud Services there's a reason they paid 34 billion for REDHAT - Linux is riding on Mainframes now folks.

Incredible vid as always! Thank you! Regarding Cloud certs... I'm debating getting one only because every time I search for cloud-related jobs I see very few AWS jobs (for example) that are entry level to few-years experienced. Everything is Senior level $100-150K+, so I don't think certs are getting those jobs, no? So if there are few opportunities to get in the door as sort of an apprentice, is there even a point of getting certified if not for some additional knowledge? Any thoughts on this?

A cert can open the door to an interview, but you need to make sure you can come up to speed quickly. Sometimes you gotta fake it until you make it. But be sure you know what you are signing up for.

After further researching some certs, I think I'm going to start with Citrix, just to get back in the groove, some additional knowledge and skills, and something down on the resume. I don't know any programming languages, so I think the cloud path is gonna be quite the leap.
