something also worth mentioning is that (*allegedly*) Runic Lens is bugged and can proc itself leading to an endless meteor chain, which is both really funny and insanely fucking broken

Suggestion I heard for Unstable Transmitter is to make it one use per stage, like Regen Scrap / Sale Star. Still valuable defense, just less of a universal get out of jail free card.

Items have seen a huge glow up and theres a significant amount that have synergy with Blast shower, which you love to see. It's chance of having synergies in your build is quite a bit higher now so it's pretty damn versatile. Also, since that means you turn item cooldown debuffs back into buffs works quite well with Grectar. Also, personally I'd rather have Warbonds keep its proc co but lose its damage being modified. More fun, though I'd have to see how it feels to know whether I think it'd still be generally a bit overtuned as it currently is.

I know everyone hates this Captain mechanic but if captain cant use his abilities in the planetarium/vields, war bonds shouldnt work there either. or make captain able to use his abilities in void areas. I would just like it to be consistent.

A bug with longstanding solitude, on engi (it could work on others, not sure) combining with brittle crown, your turrets will instantly level you and your teammates to max level; it won't give you the free purchases though so you can't loot much until you get rid of it

The Seed of Life is goated. If you dont know what Equipment you want, it exists as a free life, AND afterwards, can act like a mini heal on use. STILL, when it's used up, you'll need to replace it (the heal sucks), but beyond that, a FREE life is never a bad idea

The one thing I like about consumed sol is that it’s the fastest charging equipment without any requirements (15 seconds which is the same as sprite but sprite requires you to look at an ally)

Nah if you don't look at an ally with woodsprite you can still activate it and it'll give you a small burst of healing

I like to use Sprite without using it on an ally as it just gives you a small burst of healing, so I'd say Sprite is def better. 7up is good too.

Nah sprite is better. Same cooldown, but continuous healing all the time, with a small heal burst when you need it. Just don’t look at an ally when you use it, and you benefit from lots of extra heals.

IMO sonorous whispers S even with the fact later it gives you less items albeit yes, but I just had a game where I looped one time because I got it stage 5 and it turned into a god run bc of the amount of elites spawning along with boss enemies. I would essentially walk and attack one time and kill everything on the map. I had 3 rows of items and it was insane. So IMO if you get it just loop and you win. I was also playing a melee survivor while looping.

Yeah, but it only really works on longer runs. On shorter runs, it can sometimes give you nothing. Still a strong item, but to be S, you need to be strong for all kinds of runs. Picking of whisper at the beginning is basically picking up a dead item for a few stages, while something like sale star instantly guarantees a double legendary bare minimum (unless you get the boss fight legendary stage, but a 2/3 chance at a double is still really good). But looped runs it absolutely breaks your run, that’s for sure.

So I don't have the DLC myself to be able to try out the Fin, but the argument against it is... weird? Like, so what if an enemy gets juggled upwards and you have to aim at them? That's the equivalent of a Wisp or Greater Wisp spawning nearby, above you and becoming a priority target, which is a normal part of the game. Except with the Fin you at least get to control which enemy goes up, unlike a random spawning flying enemy, and likewise, just like a random spawning enemy, you're free to ignore the airborne enemies and just keep shooting the enemies on the ground. It's not like the Fin is asking you to do something that you pretty much never have to normally do, like aim at your own feet for some reason. Commando nades are the only ones that come to mind, where aiming at your own feet, or the general direction of the floor, happens pretty regularly. Other characters don't really do that, so I'd agree that an item that made you look at your feet a lot, would actually impact how you have to play the game in a pretty dramatic way. The Fin just doesn't seem to fit that bill though.

growth nectar does in fact scale quadratically. assuming X is the number of stacks and the stat increase is represented as a decimal, the formula would be 0.07x * 4x, which can be shortened to 0.28 * x^2. realistically though, you arent going to be hitting the maximum amount of buffs after 3 or 4 stacks. you go from 28% to all stats at 1 stack, 112% at 2, 252% at 3, 448% at 4, and so on and so forth

If breaching fin, knocked up grounded enemies, and then slammed to the ground airborne enemies, it could be really good and fun, then it works better on flying enemies and you could knock something up and slam it back down to the ground to either stun or do a bunch of damage. It would feel like a wombo combo. Might be pretty fun for melee characters too

Yea... but the spawning of the orbs can be weird. Sometimes they simply will not spawn in front of you, and goig out of your way to pick them up is counter-productive

Antlers are currently S tier, 40%+ move speed from 1 white item is broken. But I think it will eventually be A Tier, assuming they nerf some of these, as it does require some effort to get the full potential out of it. Also I haven't gotten to the part with Runic Lense or Breaching Fin but they have anti-synergy. The meteor from runic lens only seems to hit enemies on the ground, the fin knocks them out of range of it. So if runic lens is a lot of your damage it will suck. Your recent video trying to win with only DLC items made it very apparent, you even mentioned "Where did my damage go?" because you were fighting greater wisps, runic lens doesn't seem to hit them when it procs, it hits the ground below them. Same thing happens with Mithrix, pretty annoying. If Runic Lens slammed airborne enemies into the ground with the meteor strike... Oh man that would be amazing and help the annoying factor of Fin lol

I don't get not putting sonorous whispers in S tier if you have sale star in S tier. You are on average going to get more items with sonorous. The only time this changes in sale stars' favor is in terms of stacking and higher rarity chests such as larges and legendaries

It changes how you level up to make it way easier as long as you only pick up one. I went to mithrix at stage 5 50 mins and I was level 65

you can full loot and be anywhere from triple to quintuple your player level by the end. It's literally the best item in the game

@@raydans every time I pick it up I screw myself over. I never get high enough level for it to make a difference, and I get forced to leave the stage behind without unlocking half of the chests. Guess I just don’t know how to use the item properly.

@@raydans the timer forces me to leave. Eventually all I’m gonna be fighting are elites, boss monsters and elite bosses. Besides, I don’t really have time to spend 20-30 minutes on each stage, because it would mean every solitude run I do will take like 2 hours. And I just don’t really have time for that in a normal work day.

I agree that Breaching Fin is annoying. By all means, it's a great item. Stun + 20% extra damage during the stun duration, but at the cost at being really annoying to play around. One of those things that's great for single target, terrible for crowd control. It's an item that changes how you play the game but in the worst way. A similar thing is like Wax Quail. Great movement but I hate it so much I don't even pick it up half the time. Unless I'm Captain with 0 movement, it'll never be a part of my builds.

I wish breaching fin was a one instance damage item. Where like you hit the enemy, it then attacks the enemy for a flat amount while it’s on the ground which knocks it into the air, and that’s it. It would be much easier to use and would work similarly to items like missiles where it works out of the box. Having to change how I aim is generally just annoying.
