Tommy pressuring her to get married and have babies is a major 🚩. In fact, pressuring anyone to have kids is deplorable. I do love how the MC has strong opinions about it and is not letting herself get rolled over.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a good example of what happens when a severe case of baby rabies infection sets in. The infected wants a baby at all costs with no regard whatsoever to the person that they are pressuring into having the baby.

Wish they had an after that to see how Tommy faired raising his father’s affair kid 😅

I’m 65 and don’t have any kids. In fact I married at 50 for the first time. I was busy working, running my own business. That gave me the opportunity to travel 🧳 My favorites are France 🇫🇷 5x’s and Bermuda 🇧🇲4x’s plus other places ☺️

I'm 60, never married, no kids, no regrets! I also have traveled widely, ran my own business, and love every minute of life!

I would have loved to have children. But I met my husband later in life at an age where getting pregnant isn’t as easy and being parents takes more of a toll. And I never would have married - less alone become parents - with a man who wouldn’t fulfil my expectations/requirements for a husband. Some women marry just for the sake of being married. They panick at the thought of being single beyond a certain age. I don’t think that’s a good thing.

My daughter gave birth to my first grandchild at 32, and the second at 37. I never pressured her. She is an awesome mom, and I think that she has way more patience than I did.

It's extremely important for y'all to be on the same page when you're choosing the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.. y'all have to want the same thing in life & in a marriage.. y'all definition of marriage may not be the same.. Marriage is a HUGE step, so is having a child & buying a home. These are not things you should just jump into without thought or consideration.. compatibility is very important in a relationship (at least to me it is)...don't let anyone force you into anything..

What happened to the little girl at the start of the story?

I think she became the main character. Kind of a prologue. Probably to show how the mc became the person she is and that her mother taught her that it’s better to be alone than with someone who isn’t good for you.

You don't need children or a partner to be complete. You need to live for yourself and not others
