Why you're doing Contact Management wrong

this was helpful, but not sure where to start. I have Microsoft exchange contacts, I have google contacts, and then my phone is constantly trying to sync and or merge. It's better than it was, but I am going to get a new phone soon and need to simplify my contact database. I feel like it's okay if my work and personal are in one spot...I have less than 1300 total contacts.
