The game would be a complete disaster and the exact opposite of what you’d want out of it. It would be a laggy, broken mess, or it would have major quality and mechanic downgrades just to suit a multiplayer game. Or at least, that’s how I think it would go. I’m not a professional or anything.

In short, I see why some people are upset about it, I am too, but I feel like it would be below expectations and would just disappoint fans. Sure, sure. Of course. I’m just saying that I doubt it would go very well in the first place based on how that type of game (online multiplayer, likely relatively-highly story based, possibly extensive in-game purchases for a game that would likely already cost money) tends to end up being. That being said, I completely understand why people would have an interest in and want to buy that sort of game, it just isn’t what I personally want due to what tends to be expected with the style of game Insomniac would have been going for. It isn’t a bad idea on paper, though I feel like it would fall short in execution. Nonetheless, I understand the frustration of some people over the project’s eventual cancellation and I, too, do feel slightly disappointed that the game was cancelled. I still, however, believe that it wouldn’t be what anyone wanted out of it and would have caused even worse outrage if it had not been cancelled. After all, there had to be reason (unless, of course, their reason was the critical and nearly company breaking hack in which several intended projects were leaked with multiple various KZbin channels spreading the information-admittedly in a disgusting and shameless way-resulting in constant fan questioning that continues to this day). Sorry if this comment was long, or if it made little to no sense, or if I ended up repeating anything, when I type a comment I usually don’t go back and check it which leads to repetition or maybe a confusing sentence or two.

@@peytonroseamore1617No, it’s because Sony is focusing on single player IP’s over Multiplayer. Single player is where they thrive, they tell great stories and it’s what they’re known for. It was found out that if they were going to do any multiplayer game from these single player IP’s, they were going to make it a live service game like Fortnite. One that included a battle pass, frequent updates. All this requires the game developers to be constantly involved in the game. This requires a lot from these game developers, especially if the game flops. They realised that live service was more than they could offer. Fortnite got lucky. A lot of game developers are trying to replicate what Fortnite did and failed. I mean look at the Marvel Avengers game. They chose to do what they do best and you can’t really fault them for that. I am annoyed that they cancelled these multiplayer games, especially the last of us factions. However I’m happy they’re not going that route if it was just battle passes and locked content they were going to go with.

That menu music is fantastic, obviously it's quite simple, but it's giving me that nostalgic feeling for games like DC Universe and BRINK. Not sure if that style of music for things like menus or character customization screens was a late 2000's to early 2010's thing, it might've lasted longer, but that window has some of my favorite gaming memories. This is a fantastic concept that I hope we get something similar to someday! Keep up the amazing work, you're incredibly talented!
