Yes, the song deals with Fritzl case. Rammstein has obtained permission from the daughter to process her story into a song. For me it was for a long time the darkest song of Rammstein, because the story behind it is so disturbing. Now it is the song "Hallomann". Even though there is no named victim or perpetrator here, it is a story that everyone has heard before because it can happen anywhere in one way or another.

For me, Hallomann is also one of the most violent songs. I very much hope that I will never see a music reaction to this title, okay with the lyrics, but not one that celebrates the music and leaves the lyrics out. This song is simply not about the music, even less than WienerBlut. I think it's great, (I think such topics shouldn't be taboo) it also inspired me a lot, but it's just very upsetting and should be treated very respectfully. when I see the most Rammstein reactions, I don't trust many of them to do it respectful.

"Wiener Blut" oh heavy fare ..... The content of the play Wiener Blut is based on the criminal case in Amstetten (Austria) in which a father kept his daughter prisoner in the cellar for 24 years and fathered six children with her ......

This live version of Wiener Blut at Wacken festival is perfect. The best live performance of a Rammstein song ever. The sound, the voice of Till, the emotions, the lights, the effects, the instrumentals at the end ... all of them are perfect.

Another song based on a true story is "Mein Teil". I recommend the live version from hurricane festival 2013. You should always, if possible, choose the live versions of the songs. "educatedmarine" has subtitled many Rammstein songs.

"Wiener Blut" - a story about `Blutschande´ - incest. The title of the song is a reference to "Wiener Walzer": Vienna waltz, a prettily exhilarated, classical dance... and the complete opposite of what happended in this Fritzl house. I remember a song from a german songwriter named Udo Jürgens, "In diesem ehrenwerten Haus" - "in this respectable house", where the residents did not behave respectable at all. But of course, Rammstein is Rammstein and so we are diving much deeper into the darkness

I don't want to accuse you of anything, but when you searched for the lyrics, you could not only see that you had already searched for the lyrics before and visited the page (purple Google link), but also that you had already searched for the "meaning" of the song. So please don't pretend that you're thinking of the Fritzel case live. In reactions, it's better to be honest and spontaneous, there's nothing wrong with not knowing everything or understanding everything directly. Mein Freund, du wirst bei Rammstein nie banale Texte finden. Die haben immer einen tieferen Sinn und sind oft sehr gesellschaftskritisch. An solche Texte wagen sich sonst keine anderen etablierten Bands heran. Das ist auch ein Erfolgsgeheimnis von RAMMSTEIN.

Oh noooo, I loved all your reactions so much, because you seemed so smart and got so much out of their performances. But no one without knowing could conclude this with a minute in with that case of josef fritzl way back in the 2000s. You clearly looked that up before and played as you haven't. Please tell me, not all your reactions were that way... I mean come one - it is fine to tell your audience that you read what the song is about, it would make it even better. But do not pretend to find that out by yourself if you didn't.
