Itoh Peonies

Everyone loves to have Peonies in their garden!
New breeding has led to peonies that bloom reliably every year in Southern California, even right on the coast. The ‘Itoh’ series of peonies are easy to grow in full to part sun in well-drained soil, either in the ground or in pots. No special care needed, just cut back once each winter.

Enjoyed your demo of Itoh peonies. I had my first year of "Scarlet Heaven" which is a deep red with yellow centers. The first yr I only had 1 flower and am hoping for more this season. It now has shoots about 4" high here in early april.
