Be cautious friends. I know a few people who have low vision and have invested in wearable tech, to help them. After initial interest, they haven’t found a strong benefit. Not sure any of them actually continue to wear their device. Make sure you can return your tech after a month and get a refund. Take care & good luck.

My Dad has advanced glaucoma and esight go does not work out for him...

That makes sense, those types of devices usually work better for people with central vision loss
