ITS TIME TO BLOW THINGS UP! | WoW Ability Draft | Project Ascension | TBC Progression 30

Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we blow things up.
I'm going to take the new Combusting Shots epic RE which has seen little play and try to incorporate it into a Seething Flames shell and see how it works on our agi-based character. In the process, we attempt to make some more progress on the character by acquiring new gear in Heroic Serpentshrine Cavern (which just came out!) and M0/M+!
But first we had to make it to level 70. In order to do that I took Arcane Shot, Auto Shot, and Fireblast and paired it with the Fire Arrows epic enchant and Seething Flames and hopped straight into battlegrounds to complete my "do 5 battlegrounds" daily! This ends up being an entire adventure in and of itself as we actually carry multiple bgs with a fire marksman build pre-70.

I'm old enough to have played Zork and Chisholm trail on the Commodore 64. I owned a ti99 4a and the dungeons and dragons game. I've been a fan of blizzard since warcraft. My wife and I both played world of Warcraft. She's deceased, and to see blizzard destroy the game is heartbreaking.

@@DonFAQ funny story. I was farming near high level mobs, became encumbered, couldn't move, and got killed. Every time I went to recover my corpse, I would be encumbered and agro the mobs. I had over $2,000 in online fees in that toon. That's what ended my mud days.

Might put a bit more of a spin on it, especially seeing as Ascensions goal is to reach Wrath content, and he rarely (if ever, i can't remember) plays alongside the same person frequently on ascension.

Having fun with Lava sweep, single target is a bit lacking but AoE is off the charts on big pulls, checked out the hero architect but ended up making my own in the end. AGI version using same gear as you minus the haste stuff. -Onkel Al'ar

They have changed over the years and new patches aren't highly publicized, just posted on their website. Sometimes the list is quite long and I really think most people just don't feel like they care enough to find everything. That's why knowledge for this game is very hearsay. I think it's something like 6 epics and 3 legendaries but I'm not 100% on it

Though Wrath of the Lich King is also filled with nostalgia for me, I'm not gonna try Wrath Classic... When I'm so excited about Wrath Ascension. I'm really hoping I can cobble together some kind of Unholy/Resto(druid/dk) hybrid. Spread diseases, spread HoTs, hit things with a big two-hander... I'm really hoping there'll be some REs that accomodate that playstyle. Melee Nature Healer needs some love anyway, and Unholy DK feels like the thematic route to go for it. To me, anyway. I WAS excited about WotLK classic and intended to go pretty hard, but that was when I thought there'd be more time between WotLK and Dragonflight. I will always choose a brand new experience over a solved one, but if DF turns out like SL, then I will 100% be playing WotLK. Would be cool to see you play some of it though.

I'm using combusting shots, controlled explosions and the RE that reduces the fire dmg by 5% but increases ignite dmg by 15%. Works better than playing with fire and arrows of fire.

I played ascension for 6 months through the malganis hype and switched back to classic wow, due to wrath being announced. I was wondering what you would add to end game battleground pvp in ascension to make it more balanced? I loved pvp lvling but it was only good up until the last bracket for me unless you have one of the 3 meta builds, and it just feels kinda messy. Im excited for wrath and would watch vids you make on it there are fresh servers being released soon, so you could start with a bunch of people at the same time and not feel behind.

I liked some parts of WOTLK, but it is were I quit WoW. Some of it was guilds falling apart and the whole social aspect going away, but the real killer was listening to audio books and timing out because I just forgot I was in game while grinding mat's & gold to raid. - Pinktails

I think it'd be cool if you tried Wrath, especially on Prepatch, there's an exp buff right now and the 60-70 lvl grind gets cut in half, so leveling isn't too bad. But, long-term the only real content is raiding content, which is only fun if you find a great guild, which thankfully I have. But, the world pvp while leveling during Prepatch/early WotLK launch seems like it'd make for good content.

Wrath really brought raiding to the masses, but id say pick a class that can use one of the legendaries atleast. So DK/War/Ret Pala for shadowmourne or one of the healers for the mace out of Ulduar, the other classes are really good for the most part, but those ones are the good ones (personally i think warr tops the chars as you can farm out a bunch of different legendaries from the previous xpacs)

I feel the struggle of not getting what you need on draft mode. So I prestige last night and realized I need RE's to make a half decent build. Do skill upgrades not work how I think they do while levelling or is there some other reason why you're not learning them as you go? Repeatedly? In like every video? When you're obviously trying to do damage?

I see people say this a lot and I'm confused by it. I do learn my skills and rarely make the mistake of just forgetting. In my videos I'm often going 70 levels in 1 hour and there isn't as much time to do things. So that might be what people are seeing

tools of war Hunter seems kinda fun, it can be build as a 1 button build for Single Target and for AOE, just rember to steady inbetwen each shot Steady Shot. Aim Shot. Multi Shot. Chimera Shot. would be the 4 phy shots you run should run pretty smoth as for Rotation.

About wotlk classic, they nerfed honor cost the current best arena set for prepatch so you can easily farm a full pvp set plus badge trinket/dire brew which would make for a sick 70-80 world pvp/questing series
