Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we take a look at the new poison meta that has arisen with some changes to how poisons scale with melee abilities.
This build focuses on utilizing Festering Wound, Mutilate, and Instant/Deadly Poison to do MASSIVE ST dps, and with enough gear you can easily do 10k+ dps for minimal effort, which is insane!
We also talk about the transmog contest which will be Saturday July 16th.

moonkin form cannot stack with tank stancea, so one would have to go out of the way to get that extra threat generation and defensive stats

the problem with a caster tank is that a lot of mobs in mythic+ silence and interrupt.

I've been playing Festering Wounds since the poison change to melee crit/hit and i can tell you that Stromstrike is actually a DPS loss (not much just a tiny bit) cuz of the GCD difference from mutilate and envenom and also taking 3x Honor among thieves blue RE is huge cuz you can 5cp Envenom almost every 2nd global.

It is a dps gain, you just alter the rotation. 1 hasty SS makes it align perfectly with GCD and no need for HaT REs.

A small suggestion when doing videos like this: as first step do an analysis of damage meters, e.g. he uses instant poison, so we need to take poisons; he uses mutilate so we will take this, etc... In general, you did cover it throughout the video, but from my pov, this would make sense to be a first step :) Mcdgw from Al'Ar.

Should note that the build got nerfed with a bugfix today but it's still strong with some modifications to it, still pulls about 9k on non VR bosses. Goosestrikes - Al'ar

It does spread poisons but the dmg of the poisons is kinda crap. I tried to make some poison fan of knives builds. It is almost always better to just use rockbiter to increase the fan damage.

I would love to see another healer build from you. I’ve noticed a zugzug vibe from new healers these days and a general drop in quality of healing. No idea why :\ I suppose healing in ascension barely needs 2 brain cells which is a shame. Maybe try Dark Surgeon again now that your AGI character has nice gear. IGN: Sephara Server: Alar
