We stayed at a hot spring inn (onsen ryokan) that can only be reached by boat⛴ There are only inns on the island, and all rooms have ocean views. It's a special place!! It is a secret hideaway, so you can spend your time in a very quiet and elegant way. The communal open-air bath has been ranked as the most beautiful open-air bath in Japan. The guest room also has an open-air bath, and I was able to enjoy it with my husband, which was a really wonderful time💞 I highly recommend this ryokan!🥺✨

My mother spent a few years on Okinawa as a young teacher before meeting my father. She had such a deep love for Japan and always wanted to return. This is the same place that we went to around the thirteenth of January this year. We also started in Osaka and did the same hike to the falls. It is fantastic and the food is next level. Our room was a little different and cheaper but still great. I thought that it was going to be a once in a lifetime event but now my wife wants to go every year. Oh well. Thank you. Now I can share our stay. My daughter will be jealous. We also loved the town. They had a tuna catch come in while we were there.

I’m German, love Onsen, but will likely never make it to one in person. So I’m very thankful for peaceful videos like yours, which show me in detail how lovely Japanese hot baths can be.
