Chicken nuggets are processed and formed into a “nugget” shape, popcorn chicken is actual pieces of chicken battered and fried. Basically nuggets are ground meat, popcorn chicken are small pieces of whole meat 🤷‍♂️

I really hope this is wrong.... lol I worked there back in the 80's and it wasn't the hour it was the big hand of the clock. So if it was made at X:50 you would mark 10. Then depending on the food they would each have there own time they were okay to be under the lights. So if the food was suppose to be under the light only 15 minutes you would know to pull it at X:05 or 1.

As a former BK employee, I can tell you that the numbers 1 through 12 on the back of the nuggets (and several other items) correspond to a clock. When the nuggets are cooked and bagged, you mark the nearest five-minute interval on the bag, and after a certain amount of time, they're supposed to be chucked. For nugs, that's 20 minutes iirc.

I think the love for Wendy's is more of a spread mentality than it is their actual food. Not saying it's bad, but I've never understood why so many people love it so much. Burgers are too pricey for the size. Dusty, bland nuggets. Fries are good when they're salted properly. But ultimately I usually pass on Wendy's for almost anything else. Now, if they ever brought back their bacon bleu burger, though...My wallet will be in trouble.

Back in the 80s, I worked at the Rainbow City, AL Wendy's. I was in charge of washing, cutting, marinating, breading, and frying, all of their REAL chicken. Yes, it used to be done all in house.

When I found out that Chick-fil-A came out with the 30 count nugget order, I was elated. I just get that and a large lemonade, and skip the fries. If I want to save money, I get a 12 count combo and swap the fries for Mac and cheese.
