I'm so happy with ITZY as well, and especially with Imaginary Friend. The choreography is just stellar. Every stage has been great. They're just really shining. Something I'm happy with as well is just the length of the songs in this album. With so many trending towards not even reaching 3 minutes, it's nice to have some longer songs that have more time to develop and breathe (musically but also the choreo). Also, the vibes remind me a little bit of Mr Vampire which I also really loved. (It was cool to see it with Lia now that she's back!) Also, as an aside, I just noticed you hit 85k subscribers?? Wow! When did this channel become so big? I mean, it's totally deserved, and I think you were already a decent-sized channel when I subscribed but damn. I don't think I realized how big it had gotten! I'm happy for all your success. I really think you put out great content. It's refreshing to have honest reactions to k-pop content, and from the pov of knowledgeable people. I'm happy that we got to interact through the live chat before on your lives as well (I've changed my pfp and handle, but you've seen me as Maria before.) I'd never really felt like participating in a live chat like that before, but I've had a lot of fun with you and your channel. Anyway, looking forward to more of your takes on my faves!

@@Koko3op Nah man. I think you would kill it. I'm Korean. I was just speaking in general. I just watched your GOLD and Imaginary Friend video before this one and you were making some observations on how they could change it to be more groovy and fun and also were physically showing how it would look. Like to be able to articulate that is impressive to me. For me that grooviness and fun is why I also like New Jeans but didn't know exactly how to say or why I liked it. You notice things most people don't and realize why we like some moves and sounds. Keep up the good work mate.

this song for itzy.. just doesn’t work for me. it falls flat and adds nothing interesting to their discography. i don’t think jyp is back at all or making great decisions and the lack of interest in this cb shows that

I think there’s lack of interest because of the publics bias against ITZY as opposed to there being an issue with quality. Objectively the songs lyrical content, vocal delivery and even choreo is miles above the made for tiktok interchangeable digestible music that’s other artists are releasing.

@@Koko3op the quality of the music is fine but just not for itzy. that's never been what determines a successful cb, the music needs to suit the group and it needs to be attention grabbing. their power was always maximalism in visuals and music with unique, fun choreo. i see this and yawn. i say this as a person who lost interest first-hand so i'm part of the "public." it's easy to act like its some bias stopping them from succeeding when they went from being the only gg i ever cared about to never knowing or caring when they release. not even their choreos have the same magic
